    As for reasons to WS slightly above 100% I can see many. Connection lag, ability spam lag, monster moving, DA procs, having to wait for SC (lolSC...), Amnesia or just being asked to hold back.
    The question Buddha asked is only for WS use, because overall they can't be compared (more melee damage on Keito, but Keito is hardly 5hittable without some sacrifices, well, exclusing both Empyreal armor pieces).


    So the "for dummies" version for math-dumb people like me is that in Abyssea at 100% tp Hagun is still slightly better than WS keito, with this difference noticeably increasing at 200%? Talking, like Buddha asked, only about WS damage of course, not overall.
    Guess that's why I shouldn't try calculations at 5am -_-. So 262 + 30 from curor enhancements would be 292. *.75 from modifier = 219. * .85 from WSC alpha = 186.

    Hagun = 75(DMG) + 16(fSTR) + 186(WSC) = 277 * 1.875 = 519.375
    Keit = 95(DMG) + 18(fSTR) + 186(WSC) = 299 * 1.5625 = 467.1875

    Hagun comes out to be 11.1% increase at 100tp, and 23.5% at 200tp before Keit's 10% DMG. (During WS only. Also discounts Sekk.)

    Maximum values have been increased for certain enhancing magic, dark magic, and blue magic spells whose potency is commensurate with casting skill.
    So that's quoted from the recent version update, but I've seen no tests on which spells were increased. I test stoneskin myself, but it's still capped at 350. Anyone have any insights?

    The answer to your question is that magic evasion down daggers and Stutter Step would likely increase the proc rate on Curse.

    What I should really tell you is that it's stupid to build a gearset to optimize en-Curse. As someone who has gotten beaten down by a lot of NMs with Igqira gear on, I can tell you that the odds of it working on any NM of note are approximately 0.

    Potentially Aspir 2, Drain 2, and Phalanx II?

    They may have had caps that we couldn't hit (reasonably) in the past, and SE provided us with a trivial note that they removed the invisible cap.

    barspells, phalanx, enspells, etc.

    Bar spells didn't cap last I checked? My Enhancing on RDM is fairly horrible since I just leveled it. Has anyone tested Phalanx/Phalanx II?

    Yes, they capped at 100, now they're uncapped. Everything used to cap at 300 skill.

    Phalanx was tested a while ago, it just follows the same formula, with the cap removed.

    Havn't been on since update, do Kindred's Crests drop alot/fast in Abyssea(Visions) area EXP PT's?

    Yeah. Imagine all the KS or BSs being replaced with a Kindred Crests. That's how fast they drop... about one per 5 minutes. Generally people are willing to let you lot them if you need to uncap or need it for a weapon.

    The alpha mod was shown to be 0.85 at level 80 (so it actually went up). I have not seen any testing for what it is at 85.

    Alliances have always been able to have multiple seals on the lootpool at once, iirc. It's something like "once every 5 minutes per party."

    There's something more to it than that. In over 80 hours of timed kills(12-15 mobs depending on camp), I never once saw two crests drop. This is post-all patches(pre-patch, I got my 15 crests in 80min assuming they had same mechanics as beastmens/kindred and abusing pt add/drop.. so I must be doing something right.)

    Some people say they have it so they can bounce between allies.

    I personally don't see a reason for it as I prefer 5/5 Snake Eye and 4/5 Fold to be more aggressive with rolls.

    That's exactly why I have 4/5 winning streak and 1/5 fold.
    Pre-abyssea, the reason was more time with DD rolls on and less time with evoker's roll on.
