Any info on the following?
The "Increases Perfect Counter attack" on Tantra Crown +1/2?
The +DMG for kicks on the Tantra +1/2 set?
The Footwork enhancement on Tantra Gaiters +1/2?
The haste bonus/type on the Atma of the Winged Enigma?

I would estimate winged enigma to be between 5-10% haste, perhaps less. No significant testing on my part, but i do notice 1-2 secs less on shadow recast on my blue mage, if that. IDK how much haste it really is, im just guessing
byakkos, relic pants don't have haste on themOn a haste build for NIN which is better: Byakko's or Relic Pants?
i was being a dick about semantics but yes, i know
Yeah, I'm not seeing how this is possible. Unless I've missed something along the way, the only way to cap out gear Haste without a pair of pants is with Shinobi Ring, which is hardly an ideal method, particularly with Abyssites pushing HP up and over 2000 and thereby interfering with any kind of reasonable HP cheat. Yes, of course, "good" Ninjas never take damage and never tank and, oh, they're not allowed in your group, anyhow.
Best I could figure was:
Iga Zukin +2 - 6%
Iga Kyahan +2 - 4%
Velox Harness - 2%
Dusk Gloves +1 - 4%
Bullwhip Belt - 7%
Tiercel Necklace - 1%
That comes to 24% at the sacrifice of a few important slots, especially for a job that has Accuracy problems to start with. Byakko's Haidate or, better yet, Iga Hakama +2, allow for a lot more flexibility in gearing. There's no real gain in giving up Byakko's Haidate, though, as you're tied to Velox Harness (no Ninja Chainmail/ +1) and Tiercel Necklace (blaaaaaah), which is a net change of zero in terms of Dual Wield and a massive loss to DEX/Accuracy. Iga Hakama +2 at least forces some gearing decisions, possibly dropping down to Ocelot Gloves for a little more DEX or something and swapping Bullwhip Belt for Ninurta's Sash to recover elemental resistances and HP.
You could just cancel your hp boost to drop your hp down...
And that's clearly not the best you could come up with, as you ignored shinobi ring, which is kind of important.
Don't know about other issues, but will agree on the weird hate. Had a whm/rdm in our group fighting it a couple days ago who used Convert. The -instant- she hit convert (before any cures were attempted), it ran straight for her. Obviously, 1 hit = dead. The hate for the rest of us was a bit sketchy the entire fight, too.
What I've come across so far:
Perfect Counter boost appears to be like the Ultion Mantle, an increase in base damage for the counterattack.
+Dmg on the feet appears to be +40 for the +1's, and +45 for the +2's.
Footwork enhancement changes the attack boost of Footwork from 100/1024 to 132/1024 for the +1's, and 152/1024 for the +2's.
Ok, since you're going to be a smart ass and lazy... getting HP/MP buffs from the Cruor refills your HP/MP respectively.
Yes, i found that out the first time i got them, thanks though.
Ok, fine, smartass, I checked and apparently the damned things can't be canceled but will drop HP value. So my objections about Shinobi Ring are now gone.
God-for-fucking-bid that anyone on BG just straight out explain why someone is wrong instead of being a passive-aggressive cunt all the damned time.
Everyone is suppose to know everything. Makes you wonder why this thread even exists![]()
So you can test the knowledge of others obviously.
This was your first post, regarding Rog's actually good advice. Unless the 2 extra dots really hurt your feelings that badly, you're the one who started acting like a dick.
Blue !! would help Serpentes Sabots, actually.. water ore is yellow !!.
This is not true. You can bounce him on 2 RDM/NIN's pretty easily. It's a fast kill without any real risks.
Reading isn't your strong suit, is it? Rog, who prides himself on being helpful around here, could have pointed out from the start, "If you cancel your HP buff from the Cruor guy, you'll drop down to your normal HP but retain the buffed max HP, thus you can stay in yellow (2 abyssites of merit required without HP cheat) permanently." It shouldn't require several back-and-forth exchanges to get that information which, go figure, I had to provide myself. Even before Rog said, "Go try it yourself," I was running off to Abyssea to test my own assumptions. I was wrong in dismissing Shinobi Ring, but given the nature of this thread, is it so hard to just explain in full why I'm wrong in the first place? Or, at worst, clarify when I'm clearly clueless?
The cancelling HP thing has already been discussed several times around here, probably thought you knew but didn't think about it. He also told you to go test for yourself because you acted like a dick. If you had responded properly, I can promise you that he would have too.
