So, admittedly, I'm not too good at melee math.
That being said, my question is thus (For Abyssea):

I have both Eve and Briareus atma. Would I generally get more out of my MNK if I switch out Briareus for Atma of the Razed Ruin (the awesome +DEX/Crit one) on normal mobs? Any difference on NMs? Assume capped merits/accuracy/haste here.

Also, with both of the STR atmas, my Ascetic's seems pretty on par with (actually, oftentimes exceeds) Asuran.
Assuming I'm not using a Footwork build, is this the WS I should be sticking with?

Admittedly besides a Black Belt, my MNK is fairly gimp, but if I need to post a gearset for more clear answers, I'll provide.

Still trying to do Hazy Prospects without any luck. Using radar I can find every single dark miasma at 100%, but after spending multiple hours searching around still can't find it. Today I've been in for an hour and have not seen a single person run by as I ran through the area and still nothing. Anyone have an idea on repop timer? This quest is getting retarded.

Say you're doing a weakens DEF trial, that'd be under the earth elemental ones and later on requires # of procs, not kills. Because its an elemental trial, does that mean you get 5 points soloing if your effect procs under weather? Or does that only count for kill count elemental trials?

Also can't proc when the effect is already on. I have a PL mule so I've just been pulling three and rotating between the mobs, speeds it up significantly.

I ask because I've only seen one person claim to have gotten it (without a screenshot), I've killed the bugger 10 times without any luck, and he's the only NM that has more than one abyssite to drop.

Didn't put thought into the weapon - since that varies so much depending on the player (relic, empyrean, etc)... but yeah, it'd be much better for the WS itself.

My answer would depend on your ws kit, but if you have a solid +STR number with eve + your ws kit, then yeah i'd go with ruin. If you only have like, +20 str in your ws kit then do briareus/eve.

I was just soloing Xzomits in sea, and two times out of five I managed to pull the mother/leader without linking the babies. The weird thing is, the babies still followed the mother, but simply didn't attack me.

I have no idea what I did to cause this... does anyone else?

Not really a question - but Ironclad Executioner and Sippoy are both alive at the same time (Ironclad claimed, Sippoy unclaimed roaming)...so I don't think they are related really?
