personally i did pet mab ones!can do them in 1-2 days since ice weather is common!i started pet atk ones too,but i'm stucked on the bomb part:fire weather almost doesnt exists, and bombs like to self-destruct a lotthe pet acc ones r good too,and now r kinda easier to get since soulflyers r more easily solable!
Some quick tips on getting an Abyssea NM to !! for Atma and seal drops, my group and I are having bad luck and no one really understands it.
Is Bale Choker a 100% drop like wiki says? And what low-man setups strats could kill it?
you will get a message in log. However...i THINK you can proc grellow while the mob is terror'd because 2 days ago we proc'd red on bugard in mis and i casted flare, recasted it again because i wasnt sure and got yellow !! but we only got 1 seal from bugard :<
Edit: first flare didnt give a message.
I'm currently on MNK/NIN and our set up is THF SCH BLM RDM we're doing Avalerion and not had a !! at all and I got a message saying it can't cast spells last week from Banish 2 but no !! on screen, shit is confusing.
How stunnable are eccentric eve's extremely bad breath and tainting breath if you're camping your stun macro and not doing anything else?
Tainting is fast enough that you won't want people who lag on it, but otherwise not an issue. EBB is easy to stun.
was talking to ls about the chr/magic evasion. is magic evasion directly tied to resisting a spell, or it missing completly? Is it really worth going for magic evasion rather then mdb? Is chr related to magic evasion at all?
Chr helps for resisting songs/charm.
Magic evasion does the opposite of magic accuracy.
So then it would help resist elemental magic as well
nvm. got it.
I'm looking to mess around /w MNK again, but I haven't put any effort into the job since the lv 75 cap, so I'm pretti clueless on where to start. It would be Abyssea mostly, so looking for TP/WS sets and which H2H is worth going after~
Tainting Breath is very easy to stun by a blm who's paying attention. EBB can be stunned by a blm who is watching tv at the same time as watching for the move to stun.
However, tainting breath is a self-targetting move. The monster targets itself with the move, not the person with hate. Because of this, only the party with hate will see the ready message in the chat log if your filters are what most people use, the other parties in the alliance won't see "Readies" message. Like Cerb's Magma Hoplon. To see the message no matter what, make sure "Special actions started on/by NPC's" and "Special actions started on/others" are off.
