Still trying to do Hazy Prospects, I've been running around the mountain for a good two hours without finding any Misma streams up, anyone know a repop time? I can just camp a spot if it's not too long.

Any strategies for killing Sedna, the Vunkeral Lunar Abyssite Boss, and the Pugil that drops the key item to spawn her?
Wait, was under the impression you only get a Lunar Abyssite from the Visions bosses on first clear from quest? Like second person I've seen talking about Scars versions now...
From my understanding, killing any 1 mega boss = lunar, 2 gives you an abyssite etc. etc. Doesn't matter which one you kill.
You don't get one for killing a scars boss AND another one for killing a visions boss.
You get it from clearing ANY quest boss that is your first. The items go on a 1/6 completion. Not 1/3 Visions 0/3 Scars.
Breakga and stone5 are crashing me... any ideas why? Aside from doing a file check, I guess I could .dat swap them to something else but would like to know if anyone else had this problem.
Probably corrupted files. Gimme the file numbers, and i'll upload them for you.
Breakga is ROM/95/74
Stone 5 is ROM/11/36
Thanks, i've switched them for now but would like originals lol, its terra and stonega5 for now.
Anybody know a good place for worms for magian trial that doesn't involve getting aggro by other shit?
EDITED THIS FOR ROG
Anyway, you could do attohwa. Not sure how quick TEs would be solo though, so might not be worth it, but idk. They're a higher level of course, but then they're also all grouped together, so you spend much less time running around, not to mention atmas, cruor buffs, restore chests, etc would probably make them go pretty quick anyway.
Tips on low-man Ruminator?
sub ninja, dispel it alot after it's tap/absorption moves, don't get hit by empty cutter. resets hate on current target when it mighty strikes
Do you have to be within EXP range to receive Atma, or can you be anywhere in zone?
Yes, that's what I meant above with "common sense".
When the modifier % are the same for both stats (for example Dragon Kick, it's 50% both STR and VIT) and stats on items for that slots are very close, normally STR is preferred because of fSTR and because STR naturally gives attack. Say for example a STR+5 helm and a VIT+6 helm, I'd probably prefer the first. Now put a STR+7 and a VIT+15 helm in comparison, I'd probably go for the latter.
But this isn't what I wanted to know. It would be hard for me to explain even in my mother language, it's definitely harder for me to do it in english.
Let's try with a graphic (numbers are completely made up, it's just for the sake of making an example)

Now I imagined there is a "threshold", which is the red line. This threshold is somehow related to the sum of both stats. The higher BOTH are, the higher the threshold will be. If one stats gets too far away of the other, the threshold will be lower.
Adding too much of a stat over that threshold makes you get diminished returns from that stat, or even no return at all, as if you didn't add anything after a certain number.
Now if you could somehow raise the other stat as well, in this example VIT, the threshold would go up as well, and you would get a higher return from the STR values, which were in surplus before you raised the threshold.
I have no clue if such a mechanism (which is present in other games, that's why I'm asking) is present in FFXI too. I honestly never bothered/wondered before now, I never found myself not even remotely close to such a situation, until Abyssea and its +120 STR bonus.
Decimals after the first one, I thought? Or at least that's the case for many other stats in FFXI, like TP for exampleKeep in mind that decimals are dropped
