    problem installing ffxiv

    Hi guys, I tried getting help from SE support but they won't respond until monday...so heres my dilemma, I'm pretty computer retarded so bare w/ me lol I have an Asus n51v series and windows 7 this laptop is brand new so I figured I would be able to run the game...

    but after installing I get an error message while clicking on he icon to open ffxiv saying ''A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.'' I have no idea how to fix this so any help would be greatly appreciated !

    fwiw, there is a "ff14 tech" section. it's a subforum of ff14 advanced.
