Why does the BG board link to a character that isn't mine? It links to my fiancee's character info, which originally had the same surname as mine. I've since switched servers/character names and it remains the same. Does it get updated at any interval?

Public Companies will be what they release first and yes as the name implies open to everyone.

I think the LS run companies will be later down the road, as someone mentioned probably not til PS3/first expansion. Has a lot of potential but let's see what they do with it.

When it comes to accessories what do you guys find more effective for DD? Currently I'm using 2 silver rings, a sunstone ring, and a fluorite ring. Would swapping out the silvers for another sunstone/fluorite benefit me more?

I use 3 silver ring+1s, and an Electrum Choker+1. That way I get 12 acc, as well as 3 att from the neck piece. I prefer this over just the 15 acc I would get from 3 electrum rings. Being a PGL, I think acc helps out more then str/dex rings. Of course stat gains from equipment seem so negligible it is hard to tell.

I use 4 silver ring +1s but I have a set of garnet +1s and electrum +1s which I'll swap with the silver when my archer is 48. The garnets I've not actually used yet but they're situational for when you don't need a tonne of accuracy and want to kill shit fast. Farming mats for example.

I guess in a way it depends on my weapon. Since Spears/Guisarmes/etc. have reasonable accuracy whereas lances sacrifice accuracy for more damage.

Is there a way to force my character to get kicked off the server? I had to reboot my modem and now I can't log onto my character due to him still being online, or that's what the server is thinking at least.

login, and it will force off your character, by the time you try login 2-3 times you should be able to get in

By logging out I'd assume you mean closing the entire client. Doesn't seem to be the most effective way for me, seems like no matter what I'm forced to wait ~10 min. for my character to drop by itself.

Might try multiple logins next time it happens.

Sometimes it just locks you out for 10 mins. I've seen some of my friends tell me thru aim that they d'c but i can see their char sit there for a while still being able to send tells and cast spells upon them. It sucks =(

So I've been trying to explore the maps to collect all the aetherial gates. It seems the gates that aren't used are all surrounded by rank 70 efts, drakes, raptors and bees. Would be nice if there was more variety in the mobs but I figure SE will change them once the gates become useful. On the plus I just found those purple Diremites SE showed off way back so there is different stuff to be found at some. They hit my R48 ARC for over 1400 lol. They're by The Burning Wall east of Drybone.

It's the only hand-out for making chocolate hearts. Pretty weak, they should have just cancelled this "event."

For setting up a new tab (the 'unused') is there a way to drag it in next to general, battle, 'unused' or does it only float about on its own? I can't seem to drag it into place, just make it larger or smaller

I need to do this, the neon blue text they changed all the text to for changing gear and leaving/entering wards and system messages is triggering a migraine.

Not sure what your current setup is, but you should be able to have 4 tabs total (2 tabs in each of 2 windows). If you activate tabs 3 or 4, it's automatically in a second window. If you haven't already, use the second tab to keep it hidden, but otherwise you'll be forced to have it out on its own. I'm not sure if you could drag it down so it's mostly off the screen?
