Does anyone use the macros with a controller to play?
Does anyone use the macros with a controller to play?
Yes
For gear swaps, class change, potion use, and minor stuff like that. Until they bring in proper targetting variables, not gonna bother adding spells and stuff to macros. It is cool for freeing space on the action bar of some stuff but then you can't see the recast actively.
Sorry if it's been asked before. Did a search here, googled, checked out their official site/forums and I've turned up nothing about the Buddy Pass.
Do the codes expire if not used? (Not asking if after 30 days of play once registered. I mean if it's not been used/just sitting around.)
I finally got a new video card capable of handling the game and wanted to try it out so a friend gave me an unused Buddy Pass he had from his CE. I tried making an FFXIV account and it tells me the code is "invalid". Not that it's been used, just.. invalid. Am I putting it in the wrong place? Is there a certain place to enter the Buddy Pass? I can't for the life of me find any information on the matter. No guide, no "Put Buddy Pass Here".
buddy passes have not expired, it may have been used without your cousins knowledge, or you could be doing it in the wrong place.
Used codes return a message saying that it has already been used, so I doubt it's been used. That's about the only information I could find when Googling the issue.
There's only one link I can find to create a FFXIV account and it only gives me one option/area to put in the CD Key. That's it. When clicked through the launcher to create one, it takes me to the same place as when I click through the SE website. Was hoping someone here had a little more info on the matter.
I made a mule last night with my buddy pass so they definitely work. You just have to add a FFXIV service, put the code in, select a payment option and you're done. Maybe contact SE's horrible customer service and see what they say.
Can you only advance in the Special Operation guildleve chains if you start up the guildleves yourself?
More details: Partner and I picked up Operation: Wolfsbane and Operation: Bloody Scales. I started both, and she linked hers both times. The leves show as completed for both of us on the Lodestone, but I'm the only one who can pick up the next leves in the chains (Under Siege/Up, Up and Away). These don't show for her.
Has this happened to anyone else? Sorta annoyed that she wasted 200 points.
does she have enough points to start the next tier? If not it will not show up
She has enough points.
And does she know the new leve wont appear by itself on the list and she has to hit the previous one before in order to see it?
Linking them works fine for anyone that links it. If she linked and completed them, has the points, and knows the stuff I just mentioned, then some weird game error is happenning. I assume she tried logging out and on, since leve bugs where there are problems picking new leves, or having them show in the journal, are quite common.
Does anyone have a list of what abilities can incap a the NMs/FNMs?
Anybody else notice their server population drop to like 1/4 what it was pre-hiatus? All that's left on Palamecia is the crafting bots and Nanawa bots.
Didn't realize servers were up until Sunday (you'd think that'd be an occasion to send a mass e-mail or something), logged in, picked up a new batch of leves and had.... zero desire to actually do them. I think the time off finally killed off any motivation for me to progress in this game. My server definitely seemed emptier than usual for weekend NA primetime as well. Everything's just blah.
Too lazy to browse through spells, is there any that mentions Umbral/Light statistic?
Is there any option for auto-targetting the next mob when you are fighting multiples ones?
yes, it is toggled off by default, you can toggle it on, just have to be facing the next mob to auto transfer
