Are you talking about gil? How are you making that much? So far it seems like the only way to make money is crafting, and that takes tons of money to skill up

It's not really that hard as there are cheap money synths too.. it took 3 days for my friend to pass the 500k mark.

To anyone who has done rank20~ DoW leve quests, how hard are they to 1 star? Would I be able to win them with a decently equipped glad16?

I'll second this. It varies wildly depending on the number of mobs in each group and the type/family of mob. The general rule I use is if the mob is easy enough to grind on indefinitely, it's easy enough to one-star a 20 leve.

I think every city has few rank20 leves where you have to kill or discover and kill Firestarter Imps and Evenfall Fireflies and those levequests have been rather easy since lvl14 or so, so if you're looking for some leves that you can complete for sure then pick the ones that have Imps as the main target.

Though I've seen 2 Imp leves that are a bit harder than the others, one in Gridania where the imps are disguised as Migrating Does and one in Thanalan where the Imps are disguised as Nightblade Assassins. Those mobs can cause some trouble because they're in pairs, but if you can at least kill one of the couple it should be rather easy to complete. And in some of them you don't even have to engage the disguised mobs, but you can use the revealing stuff that drops from leve Evenfall Fireflies, but I always try to kill as many not required mobs in addition to the required ones for more skill and exp.

The text I just wrote might not make any sense, I'm tired as fuck.

I'm entirely certain, but I think gear you've never dealt with before shows ??? until you wear it down to 75% or lower? I think?

Just lag? Most of the times I select any item from inventory (or equip) window this happens, if I keep the cursor over the item a sec and then click it durability is shown as usual.

- I think 5,000 gil is fair for a 6-Anima teleport if you had no intention of going anywhere beforehand.

- Yes, Anima does refresh when logged out.

- No, you have to "Invoke" it when the last menu pops up as you initiate the leve. You get bonus exp/skill from all leves, by default, but Guardian's Aspect is a much bigger bonus. If you're leve-sharing or whatever, you have to manually go to the Aetheryte menu to invoke Guardian's Aspect as the menu for it only automatically comes up for the person who initiates the leve.

I had this happen to me. Its lag as far as I know. Anything that had ??? I just checked a few minutes later and the stats were there for wear.

Miner, Limsa is the best place to get it, there are three caves near first camp that you can alternate and they will all reset by the time you have done your "circle"

sorry, i meant it if you get 10 points each 12 hours ingame (lodestone says eorzean hours) or RL hours and if you need to touch and ask for it after these hours have passed to get the points.

also, dont you think 5k is too low for a tele? its so easy to make 10k, i bet it will be like 20k in the future. I would certainly pay 10k or more to go from a city to other if i needed and didnt had anima. Going fast to other cities and camps can make you earn a lot more gil. 30-40 min walking/ferry is enough time to make 2-5 leves (i have done rank 10 leves in less than 5 minutes more than a few times)

teleports in ffxi where 1-5k and you didnt spent anything besides leveling whm, 1k in ffxi is like 10k in ffxiv imo. It have played just a couple days and i have over 100k.

Crafting doesn't take much money at all to skill up. At least, the amount required is a joke compared to how much you can sell things for. Copper Scepters, Bone Hora, Harpoons... 20-50k+ each a piece. I'm at 550k now, probably another 50k waiting for me on my retainer. Too bad there's nothing to buy except 1 million gil lv42 swords from NPC vendors.
