Yeah, my preferred class is set to Gladiator. Not that it mattered until now since I switched to blacksmith 10 minutes ago

You are not even seeking when you click your name you have to change your status from online to seeking party (the icon will pass from green to orange) and like other said choose a prefered class to seek on (dont n'eed to be on that class while you seek just select it in the prefered class)

Well damn. I missed that drop down.

Just thought I'd point out that after I asked this a few days ago, people responded with GLA can't parry with shield equipped. So parrying may not be the wisest thing in the hand slot assuming this is true (once I started looking for it, I noticed I've never seen myself parry even when using Foresight).

I think Celeta wins, but I don't have crown to compare. It's a matter of raw DEF, and I doubt +10 VIT makes up for like 30 def + Materia (which eliminates MND usefulness).

As for parrying, I dunno about it. But either way I tank with MRD on occasion (and mostly on MRD during last patch) so it's a keeper for me lol.

Speaking of GLA. What do you guys prefer as a weapon? Ifrit's Blade or a Cobalt Winglet with Enmity on it?

Ifrit's on Ifrit, Winglet on Moogle imo. Kings and dicking around probably also Ifrit.

Agreed, enmity sword is nice for kiting moogles. Ifrits for anything else really

I pretty much F/T cobalt winglet with enmity+11 on it. No reason not to. GLA dps is lulz.

I agree on GLA dps being shit, but I still milk it for all I can when hate is not an issue (pretty much everything after the first minute, except Moogle). Finding raw Halone isn't too bad if Goring ender / Riot starter are down.

I use Ifrit's blade because it's free and I'm too cheap and lazy to buy or find more enmity materia.

So if you don't subscibe to XIV, are you locked out of the forums entirely? Or can you still at least view posts/etc? Right now I don't feel like paying for this game for a few reasons (Low population, arrow/manaburn mindset for endgame, etc.) however I'd still like to see rep responses.

Eh, good enough. Hopefully with server merges and 1.21 there will be some form of class balance. Though knowing SE, that's wishful thinking.

EDIT: Speaking of the payment, will I automatically be unsubscribed if I don't update my payment info? Or do I need to go to my SE account? Last thing I want to find out is I have some BS late fee for not doing something right.

As far as posting goes, you are locked out of the forums once your account has not been logged into the game for over 30 days.

I suppose it's possible that they might lock you out if you are currently unsubscribed, but I haven't heard about that yet.

Edit: Oh, yeah you can always view them... you don't even need to be logged in to do that.

You're unsubscribed by default, absolutely have to set up a payment plan recently to be billed. If you set one up way back several months ago it was cancelled.

Didn't want to start a new post for this... but I tried to update/register/whatever my ClickAndBuy account with my bank debit/credit card, but it rejected my card, saying it couldn't use it or whatever. Then I got a call from some company like two minutes later that is supposedly a fraud detection agency for my bank. My bank is closed so I can't call them tonight. Anyone else have this problem? Should I just use a standard credit card?

I had no issues myself, but I have heard of others having similar issues with banks freezing their accounts thinking Click&Buy is a fraudulent charge.

Just wait until your bank opens, contact the fraud department, provide them with the answers to the security questions and verify the payment? From then on, it should be fine.
