The LS im in right now literally everyone is already all lvl 50 or enough for them not to bother EXPing. That is the only downside to the game right now is that there is no playerbase of lower level people / new players. So there is literally no EXP parties from 1-40 from what i can see.

Unfortunately this is the main reason I just couldn't get back into the game at the end of the free trial, and I'm sure subscriptions have not helped this issue at all. And is the power leveling still in effect from before? Hated that.

Questions I'm fairly sure I've asked before, but just to check up on them:

Has there been any new info regarding the use/future use for....
-Beastmen currency
-Deaspected crystals
-Guild marks (I just added them up and I've got over 550k...)

1. No, nothing currently.
2. Gets you that hat that's a palette swap of Onion Helm. Don't know of any uses other than that.
3. They still have decided what they're going to do with them yet.

I think there's quest that has you kill aldgoats in la noscea? Might try the mobs that fulfill the requirements if so... Would be a lot of them packed into a small area.

My other guess would be to look for a hunting ground around horizon's edge. Bound to be something there with all the mob movement they've been doing.

Yep, go to horizon. Between 14,33 and 15,33, the loop around the rock there has 20 or more.

Horizon is best. FYI, moogle box has a mob search function for the city area zones, it's very useful for finding decent farming spots.

Pretty much. Iv been lucky to have the members of the LS im in willing to help new people out and give up their time for PL groups etc. I don't particularly want to go through the notion of PL'ing every job as i used to love FFXI parties as grindy as they where. Haven't came across another game like it where you got to group up purely for EXP. When i tried WOW it was a case of get to 85 on your own and then you can take part in events etc. I had a party group the other day from 34-36 which was good but very unbalanced. We literally had no tank and just had an ARC pull the mob and then a mish mash of jobs trying to kill the MOB asap, in saying that it did work but was very messy. I spent about 3hrs and got a level on CON,GLA,ARC from 35-36 and when i look back now it just wasnt fun and could have easily got any of those jobs to 40+ in a PL group in that time frame. I do hope they take out the PL and revent the claim system back to how it worked in XI.
