Thanks, I have been mining a lot lately so that solves my problem. When does fatigue reset? My memory thinks a week after you started getting exp, but I'm not confident with that.
Thanks Raldo. I have a question about gearing for crafting specifically for exping. Is it best to stack craftsmanship up as much as possible? What about control? Does it lower the chances of sparking and unstable state or just sparking? Thanks.
I try to keep all my crafting stats at about the same level, unless I know what I'm focusing on specifically requires craft. or m.craft. Control was only ever specifically mentioned to prevent sparking, but I think it's useful for more than that. That said, I don't know if it affects instabilities at all. Some people swear by stacking tons of control, others don't find it helps much at all. I don't really have much of an opinion on it.
I was once told by someone to shoot for [synth level]x2 for crafting stats.
Here's some general crafting stats info that I wrote up for my linkshell...
Spoiler: show
If someone has actual data regarding crafting stats, I would love to see it as well.
Damn it, I think I just hit gathering fatigue... sigh. Yep. Just damaged a freakin' acorn.
If you're not even playing, why do you need to transfer to a server that may or may not even exist? There's going to be more world transfer opportunities. Notably at the 2.0 launch.
I'm surprised, for the last few levels of MIN I was really grinding but never hit fatigue.
Guess stopping to do behests and random afks were enough to offset the timer.
I almost hope control only effects sparking, that way I can completely forget the stat exists and free up some inv.
That said, I get the same feeling that it does more than that, but hell if I'm gonna figure out a way to test it -.-
Control (from my eyeballing) reduces elemental unstability. I did some basic test long time ago involving having like 91 craft and m.craft while having 10 control. Every other action in my crafting was unstable and the next would blow up.
Craft/m.craft imo increases overall success rate and a higher average of progress per action (getting 20% instead of 13%)
With an up-to-date tool and some basic craft gear, crafting shouldn't be too difficult to level off a recipe 7 ranks above yours. Your lv rank will determine your overall success the most.
Figures the obvious wouldn't occur to me, just putting on a weathered tool would give you the means to gauge control.
Easy to forget you don't actually gain stats with level when you're so used to thinking of everything from a combat job state of mind.
What kind of gear should I be looking to get for 26 PUG? I'm just playing really casually in my spare time, and all my undergarments, gloves, boots and belt are level 1 stuff, using copper rings and brass earrings, and green cotton sarouel. I just bought a velveteen shirt of slaying (green) for 10k and some Toadskin cesti, haha.
I was thinking of taking another month when the jobs are added. I'm European, there's always been few of us to begin with and after they designate a for EU server, being stuck on any other server is going to be like living in a ghost town. So basically if we want to play at all until the next server transfer, we'll have to activate now.
I find it frustrating that the server merges aren't happening before the update, servers are veritable ghost towns, I'd much rather experience new content with the larger population. If fact it would be smart because it would create a reason for people to mingle theoretically... Not that I want the patch delayed any later.
Does anyone have a good solo guide for THM? I've done 1-38 since 1.20 and it's been lightning fast. Most recently did Mad Anglers near Nophica's from 35-38 and was getting Chain 5: 780+ easily. Currently 38 and trying to figure out what's next. I had been doing the 40-42 Brutal Sheep in Coerthas to also satisfy my weaving needs, but HP is substantially higher than the Anglers it seems. I could party, but I enjoy watching hockey and mindlessly nuking with occasional breaks.
Anyone know where I should be putting my attribute points on PGL, and care to explain why to me? I have no idea what to do, haha. Also, any decent spots for 27 PGL to solo grind or are leves my best bet? (I have ~80 stockpiled, lol)
^ Max STR, Max-minus-one INT. Both are PGL's "damage stats" though INT's effect on things besides auto-attack and Blindside (with trait) aren't fully known as far as I know beyond that STR is worth a little more.
If you have nothing better to do with leves, may as well use them for money (or Grand Company seals if you have that option). Mooglebox has a camp finder for large mob groups in ranges of x0-x2, x3-x6, and x7-x9 (IE, 30-32, 33-36, 37-39 and so on).
