Have they optimized this yet or is this game still heavily processor-dependent?
I'm thinking of getting it, but I'm remembering how badly my laptop did on alpha
despite being just shy of the minimum requirements (which they have since lowered).

After reading up on patch notes the past few days, I almost want to actually give this a real try. I only got a single character above 15.
It seems they are doing good things, but the general lack of knowledge and experience in gameplay, along with no linkshell, pushes me away still.
I really wish I could get a free 30 days; it's not like that was used up or necessary when I first bought this
It's pretty cheap; I spend more on coffee and energy drinks per few days than a month of FFXIV. Worth the shot imo.
I'v seen several screenshot with people wearing their JOB AFs. does that mean leveling is so easy that people got from lv1-50 in 2 days -.- ? or AF can be wore from LV20 or so?
The level of your job is the same as its corresponding class. If you have a Lv.50 Archer, when you unlock Bard, it will be 50 as well. Jobs are only a "mode" that classes can go into that emphasize some capabilities while limiting what kind of actions (and quantity) you can equip from other classes.
For example, when Archer is in Bard mode, it gains access to 3 spells, 1 ability, and 1 weaponskill it normally doesn't have... but it also restricts your to having only 5 cross-class actions which can only come from CNJ or THM.
jinx
Could i solo the MNK box then?
I doubt you could reach the box in the mines solo. I wouldn't say it was impossible, just really, really hard.
MNK final quest is hard as well. The main NM doesn't fuck around at all, but neither do the adds. I would use at least 2 tanks and 2 healers, one for main NM and one for adds. Kiting main NM seems to work best, because even alone he can wreck your shit quickly.
Sorry if I missed this question on the last pages...
Can you help with AF duties if you aren't up to that point in the quest chain? I know if you're on the quest, you can only enter as the correct job, but let's say I bring a friend who hasn't done the BLM questlines to the last BLM fight, will the game let him into the instance?
Yes, you can help.
Is there a list anywhere with all weapons/armor added from this update? Pro doesn't have theirs updated and most database sites don't seem have a page dedicated to new items.
Front page of mooglebox, 3rd post down.
Totally forgot about that site. Thanks.
The description says up to 7 people can come along, it's wrong then I guess.
