I'm sure they'll let you switch at some point. Let them work on more important things for now and enjoy the story for your home nation. I never even thought about switching nations in XI until I'd completed all the missions for my home nation.

That said, has anyone tried skilling/exping in a party? Thats been like my biggest issue since day 1.

While I've lost a lot of faith in SE since Alpha, the 45mins of cutscenes and fights for the rank15 Ul'dah mission has left me wanting more. One story at a time xD

While these patch notes are nice, I don't really care about how experience points are distributed -- I care about how SKILL POINTS are distributed!

As they said in the notes, skill up bug is gone. Least I haven't gotten it yet.

They still need to rework skill up distribution. Completely shafted mages cause of that exploit when all they had to do was put a cap on how much skill can be gained from healing/buffing. Thats just the worst case scenario... exp skill ups while faster is still quite the grind.

We have confirmed that if a player attempts to put this corrupted item into their bazaar, it would cause the server to go down.

Also, I'm REALLY hoping they add in a way to LFP. I've only been able to party a couple of times with >3 people, and only because my LS was doing events. Fixing the party bug is great, but it's not helpful if people don't party anyway.

Yeah. Game needs an LFG flag and better search function with less options (yes, LESS).

Servers are quirky like that. I work in tech support and you'd be surprised that out of 5000 email accounts on a server, 1 mailbox can bring the whole server to a crawl or even offline. It certainly doesn't make a lot of sense.

Oh, so they all join up? That's not so bad then! I've been playing uber-casual until the grinding is fixed (IF it is fixed) so I haven't actually got any one class that high yet, but after watching the r15 stuff I'm really wanting to hit 20 now...just can't bring myself to grind it out. Still, it isn't going anywhere. Story will still be there when I get round to it.

I was doing leves earlier on my CON, and although I saw skill gains while fighting the mob, at the end I gained none. This happened for more than half the mobs I fought and saw skill gain on while the mob was alive.

I can deal with the random skill gains, but dammit, if I see myself gaining skill during a fight, I want that skill given to me at the end.

for some reason... lvl 20 leves make this game so much more enjoyable.... Just log on every other day, do some lvl 20 leves... rinse repeat

Did two behests, one solo, one in a group, got about 2-3k SP each run which I thought was great. Just did another one and now I'm getting 35-50 SP per mob. There goes my hopes of easy leveling up.

Question about the lvl30 traits you buy with Marks.

Say you're a lvl50 THAUM / lvl21 CONJ equipping the fast cast trait. The trait says optimal rank 30. Do I get the full effect or not? Basically, when it says optimal rank 30, does it mean CONJ (since it's a conj trait), or the class you're currently on (THAUM in this case).

They reset this morning, and in another 22 hours according to the link you showed... which is accurate. So not sure what you're looking at.

Yes, I got most of my shield levels from THM before I even unlocked GLA.
