Ok so I realize there is a stat cap for each rank level.

So what if you compared a 25 GLA with 30 physical, to a 25 GLA with 40 physical.

Could the 40 physical say be able to have way higher stats, but spread out so you dont hit the caps?

Server crashed during a leve... Can I repeat this leve tomorrow after reset and still be able to do 8 more?

Yup fail-repeats don't count against anything. You are just still limited to holding 8 leves at a time, so you should obviously go repeat the failed one before you trade it back in.

Sometimes when I minimize XIV I end up losing its tab at the bottom of my screen, but I can still hear the music from the game. Any idea why or how to fix this? I have tried just logging back in, but a menu/warning message in Japanese pops up. This problem has been happening for the past two or so weeks, getting kinda annoying having to restart my PC over and over until it finally doesn't lose the XIV tab.

That's good to know. Was the mining leve near Wineport that gets you lots of obsidian lol. Definitely will be repeating it. So I just walk up to aetheryte after reset to choose it again?

Yeah, as soon as the leve timer resets, the failed leves' little "X" disappears and you can attempt it again at the appropriate Aetheryte. There's no need to return to the Adventurer's Guild like I've read some people mention. In fact, doing so and picking up the same leve will replace your retry-able failed one, wasting one of your 8.

I have that happen every time I minimize it with windows 7: usuallly spamming alt+tab a couple times, focusing other applications randomly, will bring it back.

I haven't seen it, and I miss it, since I felt all powerful in OB when I finally got shell and reduced the damage from 400-600 to 0-150.

Only work around I've found without waiting for the tab to randomly appear on it's own is to right click your task bar, click Start Task Manager(DON'T CTRL+ALT+DEL), right click FFXIV in the Applications tab and hit "Switch to." After that you can minimize it however many times you want. It won't go away until after you close the game and reopen it again.

As far as I know, the stats are capped individually so you should be able to spread em out.

Are you supposed to be able to get another class quest at 25? I did a Leather quest at 20, I'm 25 now but not seeing anything.

^ Its a shame. Its a good looking move as well. Makes me wonder how many other abilities they took out, abiet temporarily.
