Dude, think about what you're saying... If you have a full inventory you can talk to an NPC and vendor a few items. If you have a unique item, WTF are you going to do? Discard it maybe? Spend 3 hours trying to meet up with a friend to trade it to him?

This wasn't my point, and I'm not exactly sure what your point is either.

My point has nothing to do with anything other than the mechanic of how leve rewards are given to you. The fact is, I should not benefit from completing a leve with full inventory as opposed to having room.

Anyway, I'm not here to complain. I originally asked a couple questions that don't really need an answer anymore, so we can probably just drop it.

probably already asked, but where can i find a nice farming spot for crystals (not shards) so i can break them down with my alchemist? i can never find crystals in the wards, and when i do, it's some idiot trying to sell them for 15k each.

Of course it doesn't surprise me. In fact, I'm not surprised at anything. I think it's a game flaw that the leve reward simply gets discarded if you already have the item, whereas if you have a full inventory it saves the item for you. In other words, If I had a copy of the item already BUT had a full inventory also, the item would have been saved.

I get it now although I dunno how true it is (unless you've tested it and can confirm it). If you have unique items + full inv, the same unique item is stored at the aether until you pick it up, but if you don't have a full inv, the unique item is thrown away.

3) Autorun (push forward, then the autorun button)

Over at Core they are saying all stats are broken, and no gear stats have any effect. They're saying the only exceptions are VIT (HP) and MND (MP), but not considering gear.

If they're actually saying that with people agreeing, it's just another tack in the 'core people are retards' column. Mnd noticeably increases heals/magic defense. Int noticeably increases magic damage. Easiest thing in the world to test with a couple of rings, with the exception of accuracy stats... being that it'd be somewhat difficult to notice a swing from 75->78% accuracy.

The only thing not working, afaik, is HP/MP from stats on gear. That's it. And it may be intentional.

I know I get an error when I try to launch the game with it already running, the message appears in Japanese. No idea if you can have 2 PCs running 2 characters using the same SE id though.

Taking a lowbie job to sheepland south of Limsa is the hottest way, but it was getting pretty camped a week or so after launch. RMT were starting to congregate there too. For a level 10 or higher job spamming Thistletail Marmots until you outlevel them is pretty great.

If you are ~R30 alchemist farm elementals, they drop all the mats for the recipe including clusters moraines etc.

Does Gathering+ equip actually effect shard/crystal drop rate on DoW classes? I dont notice a difference

If gear is damaged, does only the "main" stats (like DEF) get penalized? I think I noticed that with my crafting gear, I still get the Support/Craft/Mag. Craft + even though the gear is damaged. I haven't purchased any rings yet because I thought that the Acc+ would go away once they are completely damaged, but I guess the don't?

I think I saw a Wind Elemental by the Clearwater Aetherial Gate in Co'erthas. I can't remember with 100% certainty whether it was Wind or something else though.

In my mind I agree with this.

But I can't honestly say I've noticed a difference between when my gear is all 100% and when its all severely damaged. Lately I've actually been letting my shit degrade to the lowest durability just to see if I notice a difference and I don't. Yet I end up repairing anyways.....

I think only your main tool affects you greatly. If your armour breaks, doesn't that just affect the main stats, like DEF/EVA etc? And not the sub stats you get, like gathering or craftsmenship? In most cases, even if you did lose those sub stats, it wouldn't be too bad. If it halved, you'd lose at most 5 points of something. But if your main tool is damaged, you could lose 10+ per stat.
