Meh, I was hoping my 0/4 was just bad luck. :[
im sitting at like 2/10
Thats only common support, bronze spearhead and specs both require guild (T2 support, can only get it at the guild itself). Specs are still hard even with common support.
Yeah, I got an Ul'dah Cooking local leve for making Dark Pretzels that required Guild Cookery support. It sucks~
If you get support from the wrong guild, will it give you support specific to the guild you're at, or the tool you have equipped at the time?
Is anyone else placing their retainer in the Tradescraft Ward for repairs?
I think it's the one with the highest chances of getting repairs done.
Is the amount of skill gained on a synth completely random or is it based on quality and durability? Crafting the same recipe, at the same level, my skill can vary from like 230-310.
Has anyone ever repaired something that's 10 levels (equip level, not synth level) higher than their crafting rank? I'm thinking that's the cutoff, looking for confirmation. I have trouble repairing ash macuhiseti;l at level 21 even though it's a level 21 synth. I also created a silver choker at 18 but can't repair it (it's a lv29 item).
I repaired a silver scepter at rank 11 GS (using a lvl 1 tool and no support). Did it twice, second time took about 9 tries.
Gonna go ahead and ask this here, sorry if it's the wrong spot. I've searched and can't find anything on it, but I could've missed it. Anywho..
Can someone please explain to me the difference between Magic Craftsmanship and Craftsmanship?
Both Silver Scepter and Silver Choker are listed as a rank 21 synth and require a Silver Nugget as repair material.
The former can be repaired as early as Gold 11 while the other can't even be attempted as Gold 16...
Is you complete the synths for a crafting local leve, is there a way to end the levequest without delivering the completed materials? I have one due in Crimson Bark - it's far away and there's tough mobs in the way!
Not yet. They're adding that option soon according to Friday's dev notes.
Don't quote me on this, but it's been speculated that Craftsmanship would benefit the crafts that use melee stats, STR, VIT and DEX, where as Magic Craftsmanship would benefit their mage stat counterparts, INT, MND and PIE. I'll have to repeat, it's just speculation and nothing that's been confirmed by anyone so far.
There are many reasons it could be true though. If we look at some of the crafting equipment for example, many of those that have Mag. Craftsmanship +X also favor the DoH that use a magic stat, and vice versa..
I've also heard rumors craftsmanship and m.craftsmanship affect the presence of sparks and instances of unstable elements, respectively. The crafting system is pretty dynamic, who really knows.
whats the recipe for the +5 stat rings?
