So my track record with weaver marks is terrible. I'm wondering though, since I rarely (if ever) pass 50 appraisal when completing leves, if that has an affect on getting marks. Or have people gotten marks with <=50? Or am I just terribly unlucky?

I've gotten marks from under 50, and not gotten marks with over 100.

I've gotten marks with <30 appraisal, but I only got around 300 marks. With 95 appraisal, I got a little over 1100 marks.

Then I'm extremely unlucky. I've done maybe 30 or more 20+ leves with only 1 of them giving me marks. Also, I'm ditching maker's muse for tender touch. Dur loss even on success is often unacceptable. Who succeeds and loses 10-15 dur anyway? It's ridiculous.

I'm at about the same, with no marks whatsoever. It's getting pretty stupid.

Are there any thoughts on support wearing in the middle of a synth? Does it stop helping immediately or is it still active through the rest of that synthesis?

I'm somewhere around 3/30-40ish. Probably a 5-10% chance to get marks. Also keep in mind you most likely have to be on the correct class when you turn in the leve to have a chance.

I'm always on the right class, so that much isn't an issue. The low chance is a bummer though. Jealous at the people who have 2+ training manuals.

Yeah just bought m'y 2nd book but it took forever when i hit 20 i went to 4k marks and got 0 marks till 29(doing leaves each reset in the 3 cities)

When I got my first book at 29 I got 1k marks until 30 when I did he other quest I just got my last 1k mark for my 2nd book today lil

My quick question I took weaving and hatting training should intake dying or something else as 3rd

It seems to be active throughout the rest of the synth, at least in my experience. The difference without support is huge when a synth recommends it, so it's easily noticeable, yet I still proceed without problems every time it's worn in the middle of a synth.

I can confirm this as well. I'm rank28 and I've gotten 9k marks from Leves alone. Several times I turned in while on a different class and got the marks.

Can someone give me an idea of when I can start making Iron Nuggets from ore, limonite and sand? Are the ranks on YG correct? They seem low to me.

I think the ranks on YG are the absolute minimum to craft the recipe, rather than optimal rank. Take that with a grain of salt though, as YG could just be fucked up.

I just know that they had Yug'ram Salmon > River Sand as "Rank-11" until I said something (couldn't attempt it at 19, still can't at 21). It might be based off the hidden "rank" of the ingredient items themselves, as Yug'ram Salmon are a pretty low-rank to catch.
