I've noticed synths that require training break much easier using hasty hand, even if you have the book for it. I've hasty handed over 60 baghnakh talons, which give me SP, but haven't broken a single one. Yet when I make nuggets I still break about once or twice every 10 synths.

Does anyone have experience with the Crafter ability "Perfection" As it's name implies it's description says: guarantee's success on the next synthesis. I used it yesterday and tried a rapid. I failed. wtf? Prior to that I was 9/9 on using perfection and rapid. Maybe a glitch? Any one else had this problem?

and what are decorations? My rank 30 Goldsmith ability is most effective for decorations, I thought this might be buckles but those are considered clasps. maybe it means synths that are creating decorated items, such as decorated silver scepter?

"Most effective for xyz" appears to mean that it lasts longer based on the item being synthed. If it is a finished item, then it will last for 4 synth attempts whereas if it is a part or material it will only last for 3 synth attempts.

Ohhhhhh, that would explain why Maker's Muse sometimes lasts for 3 synths and sometimes 4. Wow-- thanks for that info. That was confusing me.

I assume it would be for items like breastpins, toes, neckguards b/c they are the decorations on other items.

That's usually how it goes, but if the ability is a one-time-use kind of thing that just has one immediate effect, there's a good chance it will just have "no effect" when you try to use it on an inappropriate item.

Apparently there is a way to make crystals out of fishes now. Onke Monke supposedly can be turned into wind crystal. This should drive the crystal prices down and fish prices up.

It's retarded. It's fail. Your list must be @8/8 to be able to abandon a leve. So if you didn't save any from the previous reset and turned in any leves, you can't. This means you have a choice of either holding off picking leves while going around the world so you don't have to backtrack, or pick up what you want...and backtrack to turn them in after you've got the leves you want.
