Apparently there is a way to make crystals out of fishes now. Onke Monke supposedly can be turned into wind crystal. This should drive the crystal prices down and fish prices up.

Not sure about this but all fish can be made into sea/river sand by culinarian. 6 sea/river sands can be made into fine sand by goldsmith and then fine sand with a crystal makes shards (as most people already know). The shards made are:
NQ - 16 shards
HQ +1 - 32 shards
HQ +2 - 48 shards
HQ +3 - 4 crystals

Wow... I've discarded an unbelievable amount of fish that wasn't optimal for my cooking level.

As a fisherman, alch, cook, this is awesome. But wtf kind of impact is this going to have on the economy when I can pump out 12 lightning shards at the cost of 4 lightning shards + a malm kelp?

Though, I am _very_ happy that my fisherman has a viable way to earn gil now instead of ingredients for the 3-4 useful things that can be made from fish.

1 Bone Crayfish + 1 Lightning Crystal = 3 Lightning Crystals. (386 skill at 24)

Also, I noticed that Dream Tunic and Dream Hat were insanely easy to craft for my Rank-15 Weaver with no Hatting or Tailoring training... Lodestone says the skill required is 11~20... I assumed that meant it was a Rank-20 recipe that you needed Rank-11 to even attempt it. Would I be able to attempt the boots on my Rank-10 Leatherworker?

Most likely, would just need the antelope sinew cord. In general the trainings aren't as necessary for <20 items.

The items I've received were Tunic Materials > Powdered Suger > Boot Materials > Hat Materials. I made a stupid cake as well... too bad the recipe only makes one. I don't know if it's 8 hour intervals starting when the servers came online or if it's starting when you first ring the bells... My last gift was an hour or two ago.


I imagine these weavers are making a killing off of these new titty coats. That shit's everywhere now.

I've made a pretty penny off of selling the dormouse furs needed to make the santa coats, and yeah the titty coats are bringing in a great profit lol

Recipe for Canvas Tittycoats
Tittycoat body part
1x undyed cotton
1 x silver buckle
1 cotton yarn
2x dyed canvas for your choice

2x dyed canvas + 1 cotton yarn for the sleeves

Body Part, Sleeves, 1 undyed cotton, 1 cotton yarn for final synth
its relatively easy to make @ 32. ~220SP a synth.

The maiden carp and tiger cod synths have instantly solved the wind/earth shard shortage (tho earth hasn't been a problem recently.)

You can expect maiden carp and tiger cod to be removed from the vendor soon so I would get crackin'...

I just got a moth-eaten coatee from a leve and I am guessing it is turned into the Vintage Coatee. Anyone have the recipe for that synth, I have done some digging but have come up empty.

Theres vintage ones already on Kashuan so it can't be too hard. I'd imagine its 2 red velveteen, 1 black, one of w/e buckle is used in regular velveteen coatees (mythril or electrum I think) and 1 cotton or linen yarn.

These sealife synth recipes is pretty extensive. Anything sealife related turns into some kind of recipe. Sunrise Tellin + 4 L shards = 1 L xtal kinda neat
