Hmmm, did SE do something to the fatigue system? My arm and alc just came out of fatigue and it went back into fatigue again after 20-30k SP?
What do people do for ARM nowadays for 24-whatever rank is needed to safely synth Iron Barbut Visors? Got pampered by the super SP gains and I can't figure out what to grind on other than bronze rerebraces.
Bronze Greaves is probably best from a straight sp efficiency standpoint but you might as well keep cracking out those Iron Squares you will be using for the rest of your life.
We call that "ghost fatigue" in NI. Lasts around 30k from my observation then you're good to go. I like to think of it like an insurance deductible >.>
It needs more testing of course. All I know is my goldsmith never affected my archer and vice versa but when levelling multiple battle classes as subs to 20+ they seemed to affect each other because my GLA surplus had gone like 4 days after I started levelling it. Thing is, if it's like Gulkeeva says my GLA surplus never had time to reset naturally. Here's what I did.
I levelled GLA and LNC side by side to 10, GLA 1-10, LNC 6-10. I then levelled both to 14 one at a time on lead coblyns. This is where it gets interesting. I took GLA to 20 and hit surplus on the way. I then switched to LNC to take that to 20, did rank 40 leves on my CON and by the time I came back to GLA the surplus was gone. But not for the usual 90k, much less than that. This was all over a 4 day period after SP patch and as my GLA started at 1 surplus had never reset on it before.
So this and my ARC/GLD situation is why I believe it's either discipline specific or class type specific (where DoM/W are counted the same). I'll put it down to inconclusive until more people post their experiences.
So from what I'm reading here, when you first hit fatigue just burn through it? Being limited to just ~30k SP before fatigue sets in really blows, so knowing that it's just a glitch and can be burned through would be nice.
It at times bugs out when your "exping" while fatigued and it resets while your exping, it will go like...
(Currently fatigued)
Fatigue wears off -> about 10-30K exp comes back -> 10-30K wears off -> on off, then may stay off for awhile and jsut come back again later. Most noticeable on a DOW/DOM class if your grinding hardcore ( 12-14+ hours a day)
I've no idea what's going on with my CON and shield surplus this week. My reset day is a Friday, but my surplus had gone by last night when I started a leve run and came back after about 20k SP. I imagine it will reset as normal again tomorrow. Thing is the only other classes I have ranked since last Friday were DoH and DoL.
Can anyone suggest any 10-12k guild mark abilities that will be really helpful for HQing stuff? Besides Hand of the Gods and Clean Slate, I got those 2 already
Inspiration and Manipulation from goldsmithing are what I add to my bar. I don't have the two you mentioned yet however. Working on Clean Slate but I'm not prepared to spend millions to take leather 30-36 so doing it slow by leves.
What are people making to get goldsmith 33-50?
I really enjoy perfection. (crp). Its a sure fire bold when you need it, or you can use it as a free Rapid at the end of a synth when you break quality tier and are just trying to finish the synth. It is 7 slot cost though for a one use ability... but I find it's worth it.
Also, for CRP and TAN I use resolution. (Vit--> quality ability from armorcrafter 10k ability) There are noticable quality gains when you have stacked your HQ stat.
My Bar on CRP and TAN are: Hand of the Gods, Perfection, Resolution, and Masterpiece. Sometimes I switch Masterpiece out on really high level synths and use tender touch for extra durability.
Finally, don't overlook the huge affect that stat stacking has. If you are trying for +3's your stats should be in the 164-183 range. It made a world of difference for me. The stat converters from DoW jobs and +7 stat rings are awesome.
OR.. you can listen to that Peregrine douchebag on the official forums that says its all random and abilities don't matter ^.^b
For those that have it, how noticeable is Perfection? I know someone said it isn't 100% like how the description makes it out to be, but is it still worth getting?
Perfection is about 95% success when it proc's and I'd say it proc's 90% of the time. I love it and it's on my bar for almost all of my synths.
When skilling its a free 20-30% progress. And for HQing it's great for bolding and rapiding as you see fit. It's only drawback is a 7 slot cost. I have only had it fail when I am doing significantly difficult synths like grinding 8-10 levels above my current rank, or trying to bold level 50 synths. (thats by no means conclusive) All in all I'd say it's my second favorite skill behind HotG.
It is frustrating as hell when you use it, it proc's, and you get a fail. I think this has to be a bug, based on the description. It doesn't happen near enough to make it not worth getting though.
That's pretty good to know. How about Comfort Zone?
Since I'm going to try and HQ a Champion's Lance in a couple of weeks, can anyone give me a list of abilities I should try for?
