hasty hand is bad anyway, i found that is much better to use the abilities that increase 30% (i think there are 5 of them) and perfection.. i dont think i ever failed a synth after i started doing this. But you get very low quality doing this, i still get 5% HQ at least.
People don't use hasty hand when they're concerned about quality or HQ rate.
Or very much concerned about success rate for that matter.
What you're describing is going to take 4x longer minimum, and it's not going to because you have to hope those abilities even show up (nvm lvling a bunch of different crafts to get them).
I use it for making crap 10+ ranks under me. Like making iron rivets for voyager belts to SB. Couldn't see myself rapid synthing those up... uh... ever.
What would be the ideal grind synth for leatherworker from 33 to 40? I'm sick of having to turn in leves all the time.
I did gigantoad skins into leather then into vamps. Both are 38 synth. Makes some money back too if you farm em or buy cheap!
Also, Peiste Leather is a 41 synth; Raptor Leather is 46.
I did like Grey mentioned though and made a bunch of toadskin vamps.
Fleece is also an option.
mmmm... forgot that the old synths for parts still worked. Definitely going to get cracking on those once I finish thinning out the amphibious population a bit.
Any suggestions for cooking 42-50? was thinking Crown Cake but any ideas on something more price efficient?
mugwort carp is what I did/am doing. I fish up my own v carp (very easy to fish up). Most expensive part is the mugwort from npc, it's like 50k a stack? I can't remember.
There's a cooking lv45 leve in uldah that you can turn-in in town. Just keep doin that. Or wait til the new 1.21 recipes come out. Just about ANYTHING they throw at us has to be better than the current recipes.
So, spamming nothing but Finger Food is currently CUL's only reliable way to get from 45 to 50?
I have made tons of Mugwort Carp so far, but the cost of the Mugwort itself is beginning to outweigh the exp per synth (478 gil each)... Too bad there's no good place to farm it.
Yep. That's the only thing I've found mio. Dropped Mugwort Carp at like 42 for the same reason. Save it though... might be useful after the food reforms!
478g x 3,000 = 1,434,000g
Well, we were askin' for a gil sink, eh?
Too bad it doesn't outweigh the 4,515,000g worth of Walnut Masks that I vendored.
Yeah, when I saw that my 41~50 achievement was benefiting from Mugwort Carp spammage, I immediately calculated how much I would have to spend on just Mugwort and fire shards, then I sadfaced.
Is there a simple path for leaving Weaver past 20? I'm 19 now and all the ~15+ local leves are nigh-impossible because of the dated recipes they use.
