Ya I know, but since I only have one craft leveled I wanted at least some kind of plan in where I should start leveling next. These are really going to help me figure out where I should be going first.

What on earth is good to level off of for weaver 41+? It all looks beyond horrid, can't seem to find anything not netting a loss of 9k per synth lol... Please don't recommend leves, my sanity only goes so far.

High level Clothcraft got majorly fucked in the butt during the crafting overhauls... It's either leves or lots of wool and felt.

Yea I took a look, Balmung has them for 500-700g each. I thought about it but if I bought the stock out it'd be like 30 synths, and there haven't been any sales in months.

As a 48 GSM is there a simple recipe I can use to get to 50 or should I just grind leves? If leves which nation offers the better route?

GSM is probably better off with leves just because you can do them non-stop in Ul'dah with the NPC being placed like 10 yards away from the leve desk.

Ul dah gives mostly 40 or 45 leves most of the time which offer very little return of exp. Is this normal or should I try the other cities?

I did rose gold nuggets from 43-50, cheap synth and the chance to HQ over that amount of attempts should net you profit. I HQ'd five total, last dinging me to 50 with 1% chance!

Thanks for the tips guys! Sorry for all the newb GSM questions but to what extent does DEX effect HQs? Should I be stacking it for synths or relying more on skills?

right stat for the tool gives more quality, gsm main hand is dex, offhand is int i think.

How does one determine if a particular tradeskill relies more on craftsmanship or magic craftsmanship? Or are they equally important? I'm most interested in knowing what ASM and BSM rely on as those are the two I'm focusing mostly on right now.

I would suggest a balance between Craftsmanship and Magic Craftsmanship, unless you know you need Control (which helps with having too many fails/instabilities). Other than that, just push the base attribute of your relevant tool (main vs off).
