How do you get miners guildmarks? None of the npcs in the guild seem to start a class quest for me and getting concerned as im already MIN14

You should see the first ones when you can do the level 20 leves.

I just go about halfway between middle circle and full. If that doesn't work then I go on the circle. That tells me that it's either full circle, where I'm at now, or smaller. If it's smaller I go with half middle circle. And last but not least is close-to-zero circle. Usually gets me my item.

I'll sometimes change stuff up slightly depending on how much stamina is used up- since it seems the farther away you go (the more you mess up) the more stamina it takes. (Like sometimes I'll skip half middle circle and just go straight to close-to-zero circle.)

This is pretty much the way I go too. I just start between middle and center (the opposite) and go from there. I am not sure that the amount of stamina spent has anything to do with how far you are from the sweet spot but it is an interesting theory.

I'm going to attempt the following, but others can do the same.... If my first hit is nothing promising (at center) and second is further from the mark (inside of center), I'm going to try to guess where to place the third hit based on stamina lost. If it is a little bit, I'll stay closer to the center circle, and if a lot is lost, I'll aim much closer to the outside circle. Over time, we may get a sense if this is a correct theory or not.

I'm really starting to feel that items either have a difficulty attached to them, or some sort numerical value that needs reached to extract. In about 3 hours of mining at Bloodshore, the only items I ever damaged and failed were obsidian and iron ... both rare, right? Anything more common and I'd extract it much, much easier. One time I hit the zone "you are close to something but cannot yet extract it" three times, and the third was technically the message that I damaged the obsidian.

So again, I still think there's some cumulative effect going on. The only question in my mind is if it is caused by the distance from the exact spot you are, or if it is a factor of your level/stats. I believe it is one of the stats.

~20 is definitely not available at 13. Maybe 14, most likely 15.
