I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. Not gag-heavy, but definitely humor-heavy.

Their earlier seasons were way better than their newer ones, and their newer seasons/episodes have been very cutaway/gag heavy.

Pretty sure the correlation is not a coincidence.

Truth. Family Guy hasn't been good since it got cancelled. American Dad however, is consistently gold.
