np, and btw where do you xp and are you soloing? i just got rank 24 in coerthas and sp died dramatically, I have no idea why, this doesnt make any sense, was still getting steady 100+ and now i average 30~ these mobs still con blue/green too. I dont get it. >.<

I think you can only get the quest if you are actually on the class the quest is for, which may explain why some are getting it later than others. I ran through the Conjurers guild as Weaver and didn't get a quest but then I went back to the NPC next to the Guild Marks guy, changed to Conjurer, and got it. Though I could've accidentally just spammed through the initial choice dialog while on Weaver the first time around and not seen it.

I've always been checking with Archer.

For xp, I've still been trying to find something good, but the underground areas seem ok. The mines north of Uldah for example. However, my skill gains are total shit and it takes about 8~9hrs per lvl in the 20s atm. Still pushing through it but not looking forward to 30s at ALL.

yah about the same here, I was heading to try that cave too, see how it goes, seems everything is bad again, just turn insane to rank up anything past 20 >.>

I level in Coerthas, no one there, lots of Squirrel type mobs which seem weak to everything and i find it to be a lot less laggy, probably isn't though.

I got my Conjurer quest at 20, have to say it was a bit of a joke in difficulty, just had to keep killing wolf mobs till they stopped spawning but they all conned blue.

I think my plan is to hit 20 and then just level by leves while hoping they fix party play. Maybe break here and there from crafting to level up a sub or something/gain shards. I know when I hit 24 in CB I was like "...ok wtf do I do now?", then assumed when retail hit there would be more mobs to kill for better xp. Guess I was wrong. Hope you get another at 26 though, a quest every 5 levels would be sweet, though someone already said there's only 3 per class :/

All over the place tbh, Coerthas, the dungeon areas of each city, Gridania areas have a lot of good xp mobs (mice that cast defender, Opos, Puks). There are many camps around crystals that make for great xp. Try treespeak @ 15ish, good times around there.

I can confirm Alchemist begins their first class quest at Rank 20 from the most left handed NPC behind the counter at the Alchemist Guild in Ul'dah.

Ok. So I'm Rank 20 and I can't get the quest. What am I doing different?

Maybe you need to advance the main storyline as well? I am not sure. I activated the rank 20 missions and then started the rank 20 alchemist quest right after.

Confirmed that at 20 you can get both lancer quest and leathercraft quest. I've completed the rank 15 main story line.

Got Armorer class quest at Lv20, you need to do 2 craft to complete this quest but you need to pay for recipes lol.

Reward is the same as all class quest, 20k gil and 2k mark.

to confirm you do need to do some of the storyline, I was 20~21 and hadn't done it yet, NPC wouldn't talk to me but did after I did some of the story I was able to join

That's weird, as a lvl20 Armorer I talked to every NPC in the guild and behind the counter, didn't get anything. Then at lvl21 I spoke to the NPC behind the counter under the anvil sign an got the quest.

Rank 30-31 is the next class quest. Completing it also unlocks the Flurry skill. Rewards similar to rank 20 quest.

Do the class quests actually have any story? Are they more like leves or the storyline quests?
