We did one leve with Megalocrabs where I had to spam heal our tanks for them to even stay alive, and I remember getting 1-2 big skill ups from it and going "wtf."
I'm wondering if I should report myself for it and not risk being banned. D:

I bet this "fix" completely screws over casters. So now we don't get skill for healing / buffing at all.. either that, or its extremely rare now.
If they ban you, they're either stupid (I won't go into this) or seriously looking for people who were abusing that shit. Admitting you did it is just lessening the work they need to do.
This was locked on the other thread. Anybody else seen this?
Me and a friend were grouping and doing leves last night and ran across an issue. He was in full screen mode and we were doing a leve. His AV started running causing full screen to crash and he DC'd. Well, we were already halfway done with the leve so when he came back in, he was able to trade out his current leve because he DC'd but because I already had the leve after he shared it, we were able to complete the leve and then he was also able to refund the leve for a new one so basically we got 2 for 1. Was this a glitch? Has anybody else seen this?
Absolutely ridiculous if healing and buffing nets no skill ups what-so-ever. This development team only remedies systems with extremes, but how soon we forget, huh?
Better off just doing a split skill point for party play. Static skill points for green/blu mobs would suck. I mean right now as a mage you should just be curing, but if your tanks aren't taking much damage then you're not gaining skill. Seems that glads get shafted for skill too, while if a mage is healing a ton of people, they get a lot of skill. Here skill point split would work well. THe whole "I'm doing more work than he is" is just BS. If you don't like someone, or they're not doing their job in party, just kick them or leave and find another. Problem solved.
At least its not like salvage, heard nothing from them then bam, massive bans.
do away with the whole random skill up system it has no place in video games any more
They did tell us they would take action as far as I remember. Took at least a month after that before something happened though?
I think the fellow that developed the chara progression system is a new guy. Hopefully he can get his shit together asap >_> RNG for something irrelevant is np, but class ranks are like the core progression system for this game. At least switch the phys. level progression with rank progression if nothing else.
I'm not able to log in, has it been confirmed healing/buffing no longer gives skill ups? Or just conjecture.
