Fighter, then, definitely, haha. I can still re-work the character up until the next time i play.

And yeah, extremely unlikely that this character will ever hit 20. And even if it does, i'm not TOO concerned by missing out on a few spells and whatnot- the idea for this character is to be a cleric who can fight on the front line, so combat feats are good.

Fucking amazing gaming table maker is going standardized for a kickstarter.

If I had the room in my apt, I'd buy one right now. They are usually 2500+

The guy running it has hinted that they may be stocking these standard tables on a regular basis after the Kickstarter at a 20-25% price increase from the KS offer prices.

Those look super affordable versus the Chic Geek tables. I always wanted an Envoy or Minimalist from them.

At first, I thought this was a spin-off business from the Geek Chic people.
The naming style for the tables is a bit too similar.

I think they're aiming to undercut that market and using similar product labeling.

I mean, I understand that there needs to be market service for this stuff for far less than what Geek Chic costs.
And Geek Chic, afaik, isn't interested in serving that segment, in the tables anyway.
But if they aren't affiliated, then for gods-sakes don't try to make your product sound so much like theirs, it only leads to trouble if the other party isn't happy with the matter.

had a fuckin sweet campaign tonight. it ran way long, but it was one of those that didn't really hold your hand on where to go or what to do, and had a lot of dialogue and whatnot. we missed out on a few things, partly because it ran so long and partly because we didn't have a few critical knowledge checks (which is also part of why it ran so long), but it was a blast figuring things out, improvising, etc. Also I got to coup de grace something.

First session with my new newb crew went better than expected. All three have never played any D&D so they wandered around the starting inn. Killed the bartender/innkeep, lit the place on fire, and generally did silly shit. There was some pee drinking and blood drinking too.

played DnD 3.5 this weekend. Gotta say, I prefer Pathfinder. But it was fun as hell. A friend wrote a campaign based on FFXI, with elements of FFXIV and a brief trip to Orgrimmar. It was his first time DMing so the pacing was a little weird, but the whole thing was very fun.


I got a Soboro Sukehiro, a +2 katana (bastard sword) which granted me another attack... and then I imbued it with Phoenix powers so it did 1d4 of Fire and I could use it to heal the party to full.

it was! we also got a ridiculous number of nat 1s, so there was some pretty funny shit going on. At one point I accidentally threw my Phoenix katana (not soboro) behind me and it stuck into the mast of the ship we were on and started it on fire.

One of my players on her first attack EVER rolled a 1, stabbed herself in the foot with her rapier and was stuck to the floor. She failed a strength check to pull it out for 2 turns (DC10 then DC5 because I felt bad)

It was my girlfriend.
