Still not seeing the selling out part, lol.
Still not seeing the selling out part, lol.
Sounds like someone doesn't want to buy a PSP to me.
Crossfire gameplay: www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8qUqGmYT-Q
Liberation gameplay: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEPcjwqIRfY
http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/201...re_liberation/A few new gameplay details, screens and movies popped up at the
3rd Birthday official site today. Access the "Systems" area for a
look at Aya's Special Moves and Advanced tactics.
The special move section currently offers a look at Liberation.
When in Libration mode, Aya will, for a limited time, see a speed
boost and will automatically evade incoming attacks. Aya's attack
will also switch to "Energy Shot."
To use Liberation, you must build up your liberation gauge, shown at
the lower right of the screen. This is done by defeating enemies.
Cross Fire sees Aya team up with soldiers in her area to fire at the
same target.
When Aya is in the vicinity of soldiers who can support her, the
"Linkage" gauge will appear on screen and will gradually fill up. Once
it's full, it will change to a "Crossfire" gauge. As this depletes, Aya
and her nearby soldiers will blast away at the same target.
Visit the official site for a couple of movies showing these
gameplay systems. The videos are under the "system" section. Be
sure and click on the right tab at the top of the section.
The site's download section also now has a countdown screensaver
that shows scenes from past Parasite Eve games.
Wonder how long we'll have to wait before it hits US PS store.Tetsuya Nomura confirmed a PlayStation Network release for
Parasite Eve last week via The 3rd Birthday Twitter. Today,
Square Enix made a formal announcement, complete with final
release information.
Both Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve 2 will be available for download.
Parasite Eve will hit on November 4. Parasite Eve II will hit on
November 18. Both games will be priced ¥600.
The two games combined for over 3 million worldwide sales on the
PlayStation.
Spoiler: show
Oh god I can't wait...buying a PSP for this.
Seems this one has nothing to do with Mitochondria and they are using J-rock artist for theme song.

Subtitled TGS trailer.
I admittedly know nothing about the plot, but how can it be a parasite eve and not revolve are mitochondria at all?
There's a reason they're not using Parasite Eve in the title. It's centered on Aya, not mitochondria.
Just saw the subbed trailer. It looks good, but isn't what I was expecting from a game set in the same universe. If it wasn't for work I'd look it up more. Still confused how she loses her memory and stuff =( Kinda feels like they took the first two games and completely threw it out...which I don't know why they would do that...
Kyle and Eve are still there so the plot has to be connected to PE2 at the very least.
Of course, this is all probably done on purpose, to make us discover the connection, and what the twisted have to do with the other games, if they have anything to do with them at all. Definitely buying a psp for this though.
I wonder how the Manga will turn out for this.
Not like it wasn't obvious they'd throw in a Maid CostumeIn case you thought Aya Brea couldn't get any sexier following her
office lady outfit, this week's Jump provides a first look at the 3rd
Birthday lead's maid outfit.
Rather than sexy, the term the magazine uses to describe the
costume is "cute." The costume is sleeveless and has a short skirt,
but it's actually less revealing than the office lady outfit.
A piece of artwork shown in the magazine has maid Aya bringing out
a gun on a platter. Above her, a heart-shaped text bubble shows
Aya saying "Welcome, master."
As with all The 3rd Birthday costumes, the maid outfit will tear up
as Aya incurs damage. Based off the single screenshot in the
magazine, it looks like the costume's high stockings will be the first
to go.
The magazine has a few story and gameplay details as well this
week.
On the gameplay front, the magazine introduces Aya's powerful
"Overdive Kill" move. When the enemy leaves an opening, possibly as
it retreats from your well timed grenade attacks, the triangle
button will flash on the screen. While locked on to the enemy, press
triangle and you'll execute this move, which makes Aya perform her
Overdive ability against the enemy, attacking its consciousness
directly and dealing great damage.
On the story side, the magazine introduces another support
character, Kunihiko Maeda. Players will recognize this genius
scientist from past Parasite Eve games. A specialist in Mitochondria
research, Maeda moved from Japan to New York and has earned
great trust from Aya.
As with all The 3rd Birthday magazine coverage, we'll probably get
an online look at these elements either through Famitsu.com or the
official site over the next couple of weeks.
my body can't take it
I bet School Girl Costume will be the next costume announced for Aya
I might need way more boxes of tissues if that happens.
