I will take a serv-bot over this pyromaniacal monkey any day.
Not much, but..
We knew the next update on Mega Man Legends 3 would be coming
at New York's Comic Con event this weekend. Now the game's
official blog has provided an exact time.
Art director Yuji Ishihara updated the blog today with notice that
the site's Comic Con update will come on Sunday at 26:30. That's
early Monday morning at 2:30, or if you're on New York time, just
past noon on Sunday.
The site's update will presumably include all the content that's
announced at Comic Con. It's not entirely clear what that content
will be, though, as Ishihara also wrote in the post that he expects
the game's visuals to not be shown for a bit longer.
Teased Ishihara, "We're maintaining the important points like the
bright and light atmosphere of the series, aiming for quality that
matches the current era, and fighting with the new 3DS hardware
and the schedule. We probably won't be able to show the visuals for
a bit, but we're working to meet expectations!"

The Developer Room for the Mega Man Legends 3 Project has been created, which will be your resource to help provide input on the first game to be co-developed by the fans! The fully featured site will be coming soon, once the Developer Room Community Liaison* is hired. But for now we have the first piece of content that will be determined by the fans, and this is huge. We are excited to announce, The Mega Man Legends 3 Heroine Contest!
Come check the details on the Community Liaison blog post here!
With over 10 years of fan requests, Capcom is pulling out all the stops to ensure that Legends 3 will be beyond awesome. Designers famous to the franchise have submitted concepts for the design of the next heroine character to be featured in the game. Any Mega Man game would be lucky to have even one of these big names contributing to the project, but Legends 3 gets an unprecedented NINE, including the father of Mega Man, Keiji Infaune himself.
Please visit www.capcom-unity.com/devroom to view all the different designs, and vote for your favorite. You can also discuss the pros and cons of each option in the forum* before making your final selection.
Discuss this in the Dev-Room forums here!
Stay tuned; there will be much more activity taking place on the Developer Room. Join now so you don’t miss any updates!
That's pretty kickass of them. But what do they mean new heroine?
Megaman is stuck on the orbital station/moon (or whatever it was). If it's a direct sequel, it makes some sort of sense he would meet a new characters in the first part of the game.
Oh yeah I forgot about that, I didn't get far in MML2

It's not much, really >.>
And yet, it makes me inexplicably happy. Go figure.
http://www.siliconera.com/2010/10/13...man-legends-3/Last we heard from Capcom USA on the Mega Man Legends 3
Project, they revealed that the focus of the game will be a
collaboration between fans and Capcom’s development team in
Japan, who will be taking fan feedback into account to help shape
the design of the final Mega Man Legends chapter.
This emphasis on making fans a part of the development process is
the reason Mega Man Legends 3 has “Project” in its logo. Global Head
of Production at Capcom and creator of Mega Man, Keiji Inafune,
shed more light on this at a panel at the New York Comic-Con this
past weekend. Read on for a quick summary of the talk or watch
the panel video above.
The Mega Man Legends series, Inafune reveals, has not been
amongst Capcom’s most financially successful. Regardless, the
amount of fan enthusiasm for another Legends game led Inafune to
greenlight the project. By making the series’s devoted fans a part
of the development process, Capcom hope to make Legends 3 a
success.
The first step of this process involves voting for the game’s
heroine. As they get further into development, however, Capcom
will be asking fans for advice on bosses and boss battles. Inafune
even mentions the possibility of fans providing voicework for the
game or suggesting professional voice-actors that they think would
be well-suited to the title.
How about a PSN release of the original first two for the fans?!?!

What the fuck is with the obsession with goggles and board shorts in Japan? Every preteen character seems to have them standard equipped. Its like the generic solder with assault rifle + shotgun in American games.
