You just mad because you don't have goggles.
You just mad because you don't have goggles.
IMO it'll probably have a negative impact but we'll see.

If the new director doesn't know what direction the game was supposed to takes, there is a good chance it will end up not feeling like a Legend games. Or it it does, it's just going to be a rehash of the same thing, instead of real sequel.
I dont know, I just cant think of many series that improved after the creator left (especially if they were good game in the first place).
Concerning the goggles, nearly everyone in MML is an aviator or mechanics. They were probably asked to design a "cheerful pilots" or something along these lines.
did they say why inafune resigned?
RIP Megaman.

What up, Volnutts?! After discussing the issue at length amongst the dev team and also consulting all you fans about it, the verdict is in--our heroine's name is. . . . ::drumroll:: . . . . . . . . .
The suspense, she's a-killing me!
And yet, you must jump!!!
AERO!!!
Yup, her name is Aero! I, for one, am relieved. That gal has "Aero" written all over her, not to mention it keeps in line with the whole four-letter pattern they had going and doesn't recall images of a certain silver-haired goon from our distant past. So let us rejoice, friends, for that's one less thing to lose sleep over.
And a big thanks to all of you who voted in our poll about it! Keep participating like that and there'll be no stopping this project.!
Well, 'til next time, keep bustin' those robits!
http://www.capcom-unity.com/eguchi/b...nds_3_directorEguchi here. And so another year comes to a close. A lot happened last year. Seriously, it was
a year where so many things got pushed full speed ahead like a raging tsunami, I couldn't write about it all here even if I wanted to.
You might say we "Dashed" our way through last year, and this year we're only going to pick up speed!! It's already been over three months since the fortuitous launch of this blog, and thanks to the combined efforts of our Japanese and North American users, the Dev Room is gaining momentum each day. Hit the jump for more.
AND YET! there are those amongst us at this company who would note that this Dev Room is still a bit on the subdued end of the spectrum, and I'll bet a lot of you members feel like there's still a lot you'd like to see about the inner workings of the development process.
That's why this year, we're going to give you an even more raw, more "naked" look at Mega Man Legends 3's development, while hopefully also not bothering our staff (sorry if we bother you, staff!). We'll also be holding lots more events to recruit your great ideas!
Well, we're back from the holidays now, so let's all get back to work! Better not lose to this cold weather. And keep those creative juices flowing, Dev Roomers!!
P.S. January 8th (Saturday), we'll be sneaking our way into the "Nintendo World 2011 Nintendo 3DS Demo Event" at the Makuhari Messe convention center! I can't wait to see the other titles and steal. . . erm, that is, study. . . their good elements. Anyway. . . Happy New Year!
http://www.capcom-unity.com/kitabaya...nds_3_producerHappy New Year! Let's make 2011 the Year of the Dev Room!
By the way, I'm Kitabayashi, producer of Mega Man Legends 3. I'll give a formal self-introduction at the end of this post. For now, hit the jump!
So it's been three months already since the launch of this MML3 Dev Room, a project with the unprecedented aim of generating a game developed by everyone. It seems like just yesterday I was getting myself into trouble pushing an unreasonable schedule on our heroine design contest and making last-minute arrangements to fly to New York for our Comic Con presentation.
Well, I'd just like to give my sincere thanks to all the people around the world who have contributed to this Dev Room. Word has it we've even had some game magazine writers and professional designers sign up, so maybe we'll get to have some interesting interaction with them.
And, and! We of course have plans to power up this Dev Room even more for 2011! I can't get into the specifics just yet, but there'll be lots of new things going on, more chances for member participation, and more envelope-pushing exposure of the underbelly of game development, so keep those expectations high and those thinking caps on!
Of course, as members of this project's development team, the key to success lies in your cooperation and participation, so we hope to see you pumping up this Dev Room in 2011!
In celebration of the new year, some members of our staff have written out new year's mottos in the traditional calligraphic style,* so have yourself a look and a laugh.

I feel that most of you probably aren't familiar with me yet, so here's a brief introduction to myself:
I work as a producer. In the past, I've been involved with such Mega Man projects as Mega Man 8, Mega Man X Command Mission, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, and Mega Man Powered Up. Most recently, I've worked on the PSP game Monster Hunter Diary: Pokapoka Ailu Village, so make sure you check that out too [/shameless plug]

^ was epic. I just don't know how else to say it... it looks like the dev's are gonna have a lot of fun making this game
It may or may not happen at all.
http://www.siliconera.com/2011/03/10...eing-greenlit/
If you’ve been following the Mega Man Legends 3 news, Director Masakazu Eguchi recently said the game has not been greenlit for production by Capcom. In other words, there is a chance it could be canceled.
When I met with Seth Killian I asked him, being Capcom’s community manger, what was it like working on the Mega Man Legends 3 project.
"It’s been really cool, but it’s been kind of scary in a lot of ways also. Just recently we had a post where the team talked about how the game hasn’t been greenlit," Killian said during a Siliconera interview.
"They were saying like ‘well, we got an extension, so we’re going to keep working on the game.’ Does this mean it’s actually going to be made? Not 100% and that’s true. It’s kind of weird because we were talking about it internally and maybe we shouldn’t say that. It’s sort of a weird message or maybe it will upset some people. And it did actually upset some people."
It’s interesting that Capcom was debating if they should let Eguchi-san discuss submitting the game for approval. In the end, Eguchi mentioned it because he wants to candidly share the game development process with fans.
"But, the team really does has this idea that they want to share things with people for real. And they did. There is a chance that we won’t see the game for real, but we are all crossing our fingers. That’s the real story of game development, they get canceled all the time."
While still unconfirmed, Mega Man Legends 3 will be playable at Capcom’s 3DS premium event in Akihabara along with Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Super Street Fighter IV 3D. We’ll have impressions of those tomorrow and more from Killian where we discuss "fringe" characters from Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
If there is gonna be a playable demo of the game then I'll be very surprised if it doesn't get greenlite
Please no ;( Dont cancel that one.
I want 1 of three things to happen
1: Give me Megaman Legends 3
2: Give me Megaman Legends 1 and 2 on the PSN
3: Give me both 1 and 2.
I would prefer number 3.
Fuck #2, you can download them on emulator whenever you want.
If MML3 ever come out, I'm sure they will hype it with a PSN release of the first though..it seems to be the logical thing to do
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the game didn't end up getting greenlit after all. Inafune was the one pulling for this game the most, and with him gone I'm not entirely confident that the whole of Capcom really gives a shit about it.
I was expecting the worst when Inafume left...but I'm still hoping for the best. This is probably the game I'm anticipating the mosts...it's one of the few uncompleted series that I really wanted to finish, and leaving it like this just suck. Xenogears/xenosaga being the others series that need sequels.
