I think you're missing the potential abuses of this law. This can be used against a woman who has a miscarriage from a piece of shit who decides to use her as a punching bag and the judge decides she contributed to the murder by being in an abusive relationship. Or how about a car crash that was caused by the woman's negligence, therefor also making her a murderer in another twisted case. This is much worse than simply criminalizing self-abortions(which would still be stupid anyways).

I think they are referring to when doctors carry out abortions when the fetus has serious medical issues, and calling it miscarriage to avoid the controversy. Not when the fetus naturally dies by itself. So still crazy, just not as crazy as the title leads you to believe.
