Constant POL-0011 on PC only.

For about a week now when trying to log in to Playonline from my PC I consistently get POL-0011, timing out at the Verifiying POL ID... portion. Sometimes in the morning, if I have the router & PC turned off overnight, I can log in shortly after turning them both on, and once i'm onto FFXI it will stay on just fine with no trouble. The odd thing is, my PC and my XBox are both wired to the router and whereas my PC can't get onto POL my XBox will log in 100% of the time without a problem. I've tried resetting the router to factory defaults, i've tried allowing all ports, i've tried reinstalling POL but now i'm running out of ideas.

Also, on the day this started happening I had reinstalled .NET frameworks (to solve a Catalyst Control Centre problem), although the issues didn't start until about 10 hours after all of that. I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with this.

are you running a firewall on the pc?

Yeah, but even with it completely disabled I just get the same 0011 everytime.

Edit: Found a few post on FFXIAH Forums of others in the UK on AOL Broadband experiencing something similar. Being able to get on via XBox or a laptop, but constant 0011 on desktop PC's. Eh...
