It's a bad deal for the Pats, because if they were going to get a 3rd round pick at the END of the season then they're selling the entire team short for the remaining 12 games plus playoffs. That's why all the rumors were going around that Mankins might be in this deal as well - put those two together in a package deal and they could've traded for that pick and get a couple defensive players which they DESPERATELY need.

Moss may have lost a small step but he is still able to stretch the field and gets a lot of attention from defenses. I'm more excited for what this means for Favre, AD, Percy, Rice(When he is back) and Shiancoe. Things should open up for them. We'll prob still suck for a while I'll be honest. Favre sucked the beginning of last year too but we played shit teams. If the Vikings can whether the storm for a while till they gel on offense they can be a pretty scary team still.
