Because who is gonna start for the redskins? KOLB? LOL
Because who is gonna start for the redskins? KOLB? LOL
If this happens, heard it here first.
Vikes need to get someone after this year, Jackson is not the way of the future. Maybe Vick, I don't think Philly will resign him since they're planning to go with Kolb unless Andy Reid flip flops again. Can you imagine the nightmare of having Moss, Vick, and AP? That'd just be ridiculous, and so entertaining.
How come people don't remember what the Pats do all the time: trade picks away. Right now, they have 2 1sts, 2 2nds, 2 3rds, and 2 4ths, all tradable. If they waited til he signed elsewhere, they would have gotten a 3rd (or maybe a 5th, I am unsure how that works), but compensitory picks are NOT tradable. The 3rd they got from Minnesota for Moss could be traded away, probably on draft day, though who knows, they might go after Vincent Jackson now.
I have been of the mindset that Moss was gone at the end of the year, and that Tate would be the new deep threat. That kid is quick, and as long as he ain't Johnny Stonehands out there, he will make noise. And, since he is not Randy Moss, he will not demand double coverage, thus has more possibility of actually getting open.
As a Pats fan, I am not 100% happy with this, but I understand it. And if it helps the Vikings beat the Jets, I am all for it.![]()
I'm torn. It could be glorious. Favre notoriously threw a hissy fit during the '07 13-3 season because the Packers didn't trade for Moss, then retired like a bitch afterwards partially because of how gaping his vagina was.
Now he's got the toy he's always wanted - so if he still fails like he has so far it becomes even more spectacular trolling.
However...Moss is fucking good and I am afraid he will do the Sydney Rice task this year of completely bailing out Favre's old ass when he chucks the ball straight up into triple coverage.
We'll see! If Revis shuts Moss down this weekend and the Vikings offense continues to look completely inept as it has, it'll be fun.
McNabb is not under contract past this year, he can walk and go where ever he wants. Minnesota will be the spot every free agent QB will want to be.
Actually, this Monday night game could be hilarious for 2 reasons:
1 - Revis burning Moss and Farve. Seeing that Revis had success against Moss and Brady (who is much more accurate and less of a gunslinger than Farve), one could bet that when Farve 'tosses one up there' for Moss to catch, Revis will come down with it. This ain't against Moss, I am saying that Revis might have a field day with the QB with the most INT's in history.
2 - Moss and Farve burn Revis. I hate the Jets, and really don't care for Revis. So, seeing Moss burn the pants off of the Island is something I like. Another one of those 1 handed catches and I think Revis might retire.
Really, next Monday's game just became must see TV for me, it could be comic gold. And if the Jets pass rush gets the hits on Farve, this Farve/Moss marriage might be really short.
I hate moss and favre, but it's funny how quickly moss torched revis (who ended up getting hurt and bailed the rest of the game). I don't see a reason why Moss can't do it again. The one thing about moss is if he feels you disrespected him, he will torch you, whether your a coach or a player.
Bruschi says good riddance.

Revis had success against Moss? Didn't he give up one of the GREATEST TD catches ever, then bow out moments later like a bitch with an injury?
OMG CHAD'S PIGEON IS GIVING BIRTH OMG OMG OMG OMG
You underestimate the value of draft picks. You can lay the foundation for many years of success with one good draft, and it takes solid drafting to maintain that. It makes perfect sense for a team with SB aspirations to make a trade like that(ex. 2nd round pick for Tony G.), but the teams with the draft picks usually aren't getting screwed.
edit: and even with Boldin the Cards would still suck ass this year so no harm done
