while I wanna cosign this, the Bears do have quite a few weak opponents coming up, despite playing the NFC and AFC East. 3-0 with Lions, skins, panthers, bills and Seahawks coming up...they could get to 9 wins without beating anyone particularly good at all.

I don't have a vendetta against Da Bears, was simplying defending my pick after it came under question. If the Chiefs pick, or any other one for that matter, was under fire then I would defend it too.

Wait, what? When Denver started 6-0, the only two non-playoff teams they beat were the Raiders and Browns; every other team the played in that stretch won their respective divisions. That's not an easy start. On the year, they played 6 games against teams with losing records, and six against teams who won their divisions, and two more against wild-card teams. Once teams realized that McDaniels didn't know the run game from a run in his pantyhose, they stopped trying to get into shootouts, and so his coaching was shown over-rated, but Denver's schedule last year was flat-out brutal, including a stretch of three consecutive opponents coming off their bye-week.
