just don't pay attention to the actual game otherwise you'll find out Dwight didn't score his first field goal til late in the third and quickly fouled out in OT and got another technical and now on the edge of getting suspended another game. You know.. stuff MVPs do!

This is what you gotta understand about Derrick. He hates being embarrassed so much so that it motivates him when you dunk on him.

I can show you a few cases.

Some back story. two nights before he had probably his worst game of the year against the Warriors and the next night he had a great game against the Blazers in which he lost. After the game Batum called out Derrick saying he couldn't defend.

The next game here we see him missing a Easy FG that he knows he should have made but what you don't see is the play before that D-Rose blew a rotation and he knew it.



The result? Dwill had a terrible game

and so did Chris Paul the game after that


It's also not limited to to individual players

But don't take my word for it. I'm not the only one who notices this.
