Playoff predictions anyone?
1st round:
East:
Bulls beat Pacers in 5
Heat beat 76ers in 7
Celtics beat Knicks in 5
Magic beat Hawks in 4
West:
Spurs beat Grizzlies in 4
Lakers beat Hornets in 5
Trail Blazers beat Mavericks in 6
Thunder beat Nuggets in 7
Not really sure on a lot of my predictions, should be some good series this year though.
knicks in 6
what a hater
knicks to sweep 3-0
A bit bitter since my team, Houston, managed to get a better record then 3 east teams and are out of the playoffs...
With that said.
Bulls over Pacers in 4
Heat over Sixers in 6
Magic over Hawks in 6
Celtics over Knicks in 5
Mavs over Blazers in 6
Spurs over Grizz in 5
Lakers over Hornets in 5 (with Phil complaining to the media about Paul getting calls twice)
Thunder over Nuggets in 6
East:
Bulls beat Pacers in 4
Heat beat 76ers in 6
Celtics beat Knicks in 5
Magic beat Hawks in 5
West:
Spurs beat Grizzlies in 5 (expecting a dropped game because of Manu's elbow)
Lakers beat Hornets in 6 (expecting the Lakers to lose at least 2 just because they are lazy)
Mavericks beat Blazers in 7
Thunder beat Nuggets in 6
Fuck the grizz. Tanking for their farm team the lakers and gifting them the easy road. Also, props to Kobe being clutch and beating one of the worst teams in the west in a game they needed to win. Im still pissed at pop for playing any starters in a meaningless game. I said the bulls would get the best record too, the had the easier schedule in the loleast.
Still want to know wtf the Lakers did in the 4Q
^And then, as if on the wings of angels, the Kings fought back. They knocked down shots, they picked up rebounds, and they gave their fans one more moment of hope. The Lakers were happy to assist, tossing up bricks and turning the ball over, but this was about desperation. The Kings, driven by their fans, had that quality in abundance.
So the Kings took the lead. If this were a fair world, that would be the end of the story. I'm a Lakers fan, have been since the day I was born, but even I could sense the justice in it. The narrative was too perfect. One last stand, one last heroic charge. Even as the Lakers looked to suffer a humiliating collapse in defeat, it seemed like fate. The Lakers were the villains in this story, and as Hollywood's team, they knew that the villains are supposed to lose. Only one guy wasn't interested in the script. So Kobe Bryant re-wrote the ending.
Fuck Fairness. Fuck Happy Endings. Fuck bad PR. Fuck losing. These are the tenets of the Black Mamba.

I am pissed the Thunder and Nuggets are playing in the first round, would have liked to see both of them make a run.
