Rose better play godlike.. he is playing what I'd bet is the worst playoff team in the NBA since the merger.

I am surprised the ATL took game 1. Orlando seems to have a habit of collapsing but I didnt think it would happen this quick.

Kinda surprised how everyone is still on the Portland bandwagon after so many years. They are still tossing out the "biggest threat to the Lakers" tag. Thats all fine and dandy but in the end worthless if you cant get past the 1st round. People act like Dallas is a horrible team...they are a pretty damn good team. Its fair to mentain their history of playoff troubles recently but that shouldnt automaticly be a win for the other team.

I'm extremely butthurt about that dallas/portland game. 19 - 2 free throw edge for Dallas in the 4th? Gimme a break.

Did you see the FT difference in the other games? It was just as bad. Now ask yourself, what match up will get better ratings as the playoffs go on.

Which match up do people want to see more? Spurs vs Lakers, or Thunder vs Lakers?

Yeah Dallas being out in 3 of the last 4 years in the first round sucks, but it wasn't unthinkable. Golden State was the worst matchup imaginable for them, plus their coach was Nelson who coached that entire Mavs team for years, and knew how to frustrate Dirk. Chris Paul and the Hornets was another shitty matchup, Jason Kidd has no chance against CP3 in his prime. Then last year the 7th seed Spurs...cmon it's the Spurs vs Mavs, that series can and has gone either way for years.

I knew Memphis would be a handful for any team they played against. Unfortunately for them, they have a lot of knuckleheads on their team who like to make stupid mistakes. The best part of watching Memphis games is watching Randolph mad face his teammates whenever he posts up and they don't feed him the ball.

Yeah, the only possible upsets in the West is if the Lakers lose to the Hornets. The other 7 teams are too close.

I agree, but the Nuggets will still give OKC a good series. Nuggets would give any of the top seeds fits.

Wow. Really good win. You could tell how badly the Spurs missed Ginobili.

I would like to give a shout out to the refs. They have been doing a really good job during the playoffs of making sure the fans do not get to see too much basketball. The refs know that we all tuned in to see them. Nothing says NBA excitement like free throws, flops, touch fouls and inbounding the ball.

Don't worry. Phil Jackson will give an rousing speech during halftime which inspire the refs to step their game up. Refs like to coast during Lakers games until the fourth quarter when they will lead the Lakers to an exciting comeback.

At what point will everyone finally admit that Bynam will never be more than an average player? The guy is the worst in the NBA within 3 feet of the basket, can't make FTs, and falls asleep on defense all the time.
