idk I kind of look at it the other way around. It's everybody but Amare's first year in D'Antoni's system, and young guys like Fields and Gallinari should only continue to improve. I kind of like their offense(granted I've only seen them the past two nights) with Amare as the go-to, and Gallo, Felton, Chandler, and Fields all spreading the floor. Chandler is kind of a volume scorer like Amare, but Fields is perfect just as a hustle guy.

Need to trade for the rights to Rubio!

Amare turned into shitty Amare tonight.. you know the one, where he can't make free throws or hit his jumper. Saw waaaay too many bricks, and god damn, when you're matched up with Big Z, fucking drive to the hoop lol.

hmm, magic looking at ways to get arenas onto their team, either at the cost of vince or gortat. there was also some talk about them taking hedo back. i wonder if they can do that and retain vince at the same time.

You know what Knicks' play style reminds me of? Orlando Magic, with poorer defense

Shoot a shit ton of 3's and hope they go in? Yeah, I'd say so. Some of the Knicks 3's that I saw in the time I watched before it was a blowout.. man, they were awful. It's like "OHGOD THROW IT UP AS FAST AS WE CAN"

basic PnR and spot-up shots, yeah, better transitions i guess, although what use is a good transition game when you don't have any defense?

i guess this is what makes Miami so good right now, stingy defense and unstoppable runs, makes up for their lack of any half court sets

The Heat pretty much made sure he wasn't going to be able to beat them, they doubled him in the post and forced him to kick it out. It didn't really work in the first half because Gallo hit his shots and drove the ball well. After that though, their offense stagnated and they just couldn't keep up. Wasn't really Amar'es fault, he has to rely on his teammates in that situation

The Orlando Magic, already in serious trade talks with the Washington Wizards about acquiring Gilbert Arenas, are close to pulling off a separate trade with the Phoenix Suns, according to league sources.

The proposed trade, which one source gave a "90 percent" chance of happening, would return former Magic star Hedo Turkoglu, along with Jason Richardson, to Orlando in exchange for Vince Carter and Marcin Gortat.

The deal is likely to be completed within the next 24 hours, according to the sources.

"It's safe to say that it's imminent," one source said. "It's very close. There's always a chance it could fall apart, but it's 90 percent done."

    love it for orlando

No problem with losing Lewis or Carter...kinda concerned about losing our big man Gortat though. Wonder who the other big from the Wizards would be, really need some kind of size.

Jason Richardson is kind of a new name that I hadn't heard though. Definitely like that. Kinda iffy on Turko coming back...he worked well with us but damn, I just dont know. Obviously happy about Arenas coming over, although kinda surprised we wouldnt try and move Jameer Nelson...guess it mitigates the injury risks that come along with Arenas. A lot of guards if that all goes through lol. Nelson, Richardson, Reddick, and Arenas, would be sweet depth there...just kinda thin at bigger spots.

    guess it's official now

"The trade returns former Magic star Hedo Turkoglu, along with Jason Richardson and Earl Clark, to Orlando in exchange for Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat, Mickael Pietrus, a 2011 first-round pick and cash considerations."

def like to see what nash will do for vince. good deal for both sides, imo.

wait what, Pietrus too...wtf. our first rounders havent worked out in a long time so idc about that, but Pietrus was a nice shooter...although he did let us down last year. hmmm, this earl clark guy seems kinda young and hasnt managed to get on the damn court. still like getting j-rich though and never having to see vince again.

yeah, j-rich real solid obv and he's not gonna miss 5 games for being breathed on.

kinda sucks you guys got earl clark, though. that guy does a whole lot of nothing. if the suns coaching staff couldn't get him to develop, i reaaaaaally doubt SVG and his grating ways will get him in the right direction. you never know, though.

Maybe we looking at it the wrong way. Maybe the suns have some secret weapon which is only activated with people on the DL.

either that or they wanted someone to keep grant hill company with on the DL.

wow, giving away Gortat and Lewis, I mean I know Lewis has been downright awful, but do the Magics expect Howard to fill their front court all by himself?

I think they should see if Hedo brings back that chemistry with Lewis before doing the Arenas trade, it's not like anybody else is dying to pull the trigger on him anyway

Suns are boned for the season as it is anyway, so I don't see why they'd care.
