we talking totally different things then. I thought you meant scoring option not second last second option.

Still the problem is he didn't look for KD or even a wide open Harden. Sometimes it takes a clutch player to give it up ala Chris Paul.

the problem is he didn't make that shot

people forget Jordan missed 20 shots in that game 6 against Utah before he made the game winner, and that Shaq was bricking 5 footers all game until the "Bryant to Shaq" oop in game 7 against portland

my point is more often than not players miss those clutch shots, but people only remember the makes, so it takes a special talent to not be afraid to fail in that situation

and it's not like this is a critical game, Thunder is still up 3-1 and will probably close at home

    Shut up.

You can make the same fucking argument for Kendrick Perkins shooting the last shot and missing.

The problem is he wanted to steal the show.

here let me recreate the 2 mins of this game

    lol

Westbrook isn't Kendrik Perkins or Carlton

He just made a layup through traffic, then he dribbles and steps into a three. I would be spitting-all-over-my-TV surprised if Perkins/Carlton makes a three, but be honest, would you really be surprised if Westbrook makes one?

the first three didn't need to be a three.

Bottom line is you can't have two #1's on the team in late game situations. The way KD was shooting the ball late in the game he needed to look for him.

Guess who agrees with me GRTH?

    Michael Wilbon
Russell Westbrook is a great player but too much hero ball...like's he's competing w Durant...Give the ball up to a superior shooter...
Ok City can't beat the Lakers w Westbrook's ego running amok like that...sweep was there because Denver tried its best to cough it up.

Not gonna lie, Westbrook was a little too much of his reckless self in this game, it was kinda Westbrook circa 2 years ago.

But really, I hate how the refs will not call anything in the last minute of the game. My only complaint is the no call on Nene for wrestling Perk to the ground, hell it was worse than the T Perk got earlier in the game.

But really we deserved to lose this one, if we were just 50% on scoring off our stops we would have won by 50. Defense was good, offense was a little too out of rhythm.
