Blazers lose a first round series in six games. It's becoming a tradition, and I expect to see more of the same next year.

I don't think the Mavs will be humiliated, it's all going to be on Chandler/Haywood and if Jason Terry can keep playing well. If the Mavs had a healthy Caron Butler they would be favored. They basically traded for Haywood/Stevenson/Butler and Chandler just for a supposed Lakers matchup which has never happened in ~10 years suprisingly.

Stevenson/Marion can make Kobe work but he will still get his, while Dirk is unguardable by any Laker.

It will come down to rebounds and HCA, so I still think Lakers in 7.

Expected the Magic to get to the 2nd round before they flamed out. I wouldnt be shocked to see SVG get canned as part of step 1 of Operation "We have to keep Dwight" there. Part 2 should be to offer NO everything but Dwight to get Paul.

Mavs winning not a shock. They are the better team of the two. Lakers over NO was no surprise as the only way NO wins is when Paul is in God Mode. Dallas Vs LA will be good and should go 7.

if Hinrich was 100% i'd feel better about the Hawks pushing the series, he's one of the best defensive points in the league and forced Rose into two <40% shooting performances during the regular season

if his hammy limits his mobility though no one else on Atlanta can begin to keep up with Rose

I agree, the matchups are real good. The hawks did get destroyed when they lost to the Bulls, but that was when the Hawks were playing like shit.

SG Boguns wont be able to stop Johnson
SF Deng wont be able to score on J-smooth
PF Boozer sucks, Al wins that matchup
C Jokekim is better than whoever the Hawks have at Center.

Who's bench will play better? Should be interesting when Crawford comes in and the Hawks move down a Position. Can Jokekim beat Al when that happends?
