No way, Chris Paul and Deron Williams are both better. Rose has put up more points but he has no choice but the be the main offense on the team he's on.

Just out of curiosity. What you basing your opinion on?

Edit: Because the same can be said about Deron williams.

Rondo is playing out of his mind right now, I'd say he's the best true PG in the NBA.

yeah paul milsap is a beast, and al jefferson is a fantastic post player as well. deron's got a couple great options to go to, but he still ends up scoring in the end because he's simply their best player. you also have to consider that utah's offense is one of the most defined systems in the league. yeah there's room for creativity, but deron is involved in a lot less iso stuff than rose. would i go so far as to say that he'd be a better scorer than rose if he had more freedom? prolly not, cause i think rose is the best rim-attacking PG in the league today. but deron wouldn't be far behind.

either way when you add in all the other stuff that williams does, i'd rate him ahead of rose. and i'll also agree with manowarr that every team needs a different PG. right now the top few PG's in the league are so good (and some at many different things) that it's nearly impossible to rank them.

whether he deserved to win it or not is another question, but I still think CP3 is the "real" MVP if you look at the other players on that team and how far he took them

I'm pretty hyped for tonight. All Dallas has to hope for is to keep it close and then use their superior crunch time execution to steal another win.

Over the last 3 years, Dallas is something ridiculous like 42-17 in games decided by fewer than 3-4 points, mainly because if you have to do the foul game against Dallas you are certainly going to lose, their crunch time 5 man all shoot over 70% from the line and over 45% FG% in the same period.

Or force Kobe to throw up another coin flip.
