Funny thing is Mavs have played pretty shitty except Dirk in all 3 games, until it gets to the last 5 minutes when they turn up the defense. Despite some big 3s, Peja and Kidd are both shooting at 3pt pretty badly this series.

Pau is the ONLY reason the Lakers got the last 2 rings, you think they beat the Celtics without him averaging 20-14 or whatever? Can't get rid of him for 1 bad year.

Kobe has never done anything without a sidekick that was his equal (Pau) or better (Shaq).

Pau is playing like garbage this year, he's soft as fuck and this series proved it. No Pau playing like he did last 2 years = Lakers just a good team.

This is why rings don't mean everything. Dirk's BEST sidekick the last 7 years has been Jason Terry, who isn't even an Allstar.

I've been a Laker fan since Sedale Threatt ran the point and Vlade Divac was considered their best player. Pau is the reason we won the last two championships, but he's also the reason we're losing now. Getting outplayed is one thing, but Pau Gasol is putting forth zero effort in the most important games of the season. If I was the only one who felt this way, he wouldn't have been booed by the entire crowd in game 2.

I don't think the Lakers will come back, but if I had to pick a team to be the colossal failures that choked away a 3-0 lead for the first time in history it would be Dallas.

If a team ever comes back from a 3-0, it would be a low key series between two middle-of-the-road teams like a 4/5 matchup in the east, something like the Hawks v. Bucks of last year. These high profile series/teams won't let that happen.
