really, it's no contest between Dirk and Durant? I say Dirk as well, but Durant has two straight scoring titles, and is almost as automatic. Plus Dirk doesn't know how to drive (though I haven't seen Durant play enough to judge here.

Dirk shoots over 52% as a perimeter player, thats unheard of. He has so many moves now (he's only gotten better over the years) that he can overcome any one match up on him. And he still has the option of putting it on the floor and just scooping the ball in and usually picking up an and1.

He's so much better at defeating double teams now than he was in 06/07. See how Dallas had all those open 3 point shooters and Barea had wide open drives? It's because Dirk's man was terrified of leaving him and helping, and a lot of the time Dirk was getting doubled without even having the ball! The entire Dallas offense only works with Dirk on the floor.

He's also crazy efficient now, he scores over 23+ avg on just 16-17 shots. He has tons of 10 for 14 type games. Thanks to the above, he basically only takes shots he's certain to hit otherwise he finds the open man for easy scores. If Dirk wanted he could score 28+ a game but theres no reason when he creates so many wide open shooters - none of his team mates except Caron Butler can create their own shot so he has to get Terry, Peja involved somehow.

The last game the bulls played against the heat and won was at the tail end of their 5 game losing streak.

Regular season games at this point hold no weight really, Boston took 3/4 from Miami in the regular season. Team is entirely different and its the playoffs, if baby Jordan doesnt get any contributions from Deng or Boozer, they might get 2 games. Baby Jordan can carry them for at least two wins in Chicago. I fully expect to see the Queen on Baby Jordan alot in that series.
