Well damn... a great night falls short. Harden made his case for starter next year though. I will see you all next season... I really don't want to cheer for any remaining team :/

Dunno why it didn't happen earlier. Can't think of what Sefolosha brings to the table. Probably put Harden as the 6th man cuz he's the only one who can bring a spark off the bench.

OKC showed they were not ready to make the leap this year.

Kevin Durant -- Needs to study tape on Dirk and figure out how young Dirk solved the problem of getting defended by point guards. Remember when Steve Nash would defend against Dirk? It used to be effective. Old and grizzled Dirk of today eats that shit up now.
Serge Ibaka -- Props for trying to work on your game but that 15' jumper is not ready for prime time. Gotta quit spotting up cuz you were hurting your team. Reminds me of Antoine Walker and Josh Smith.
Kendrick Perkins -- Why did they keep posting this guy up? Stick to what you do best, Kendrick: putting on your mad face after every foul call.
Thabo Sefolosha -- In a tight race with Keith Bogans as the most invisible SGs on a good team.
Russell Westbrook -- Kid still needs to grow up. Keeps throwing temper tantrums like that dumb tech in the 4th and going into hero mode in other games just cuz you're pissed off.

BENCH
Nick Collison -- The prototypical hustle white big man. Every team needs one of these guys. Need to continue to work on making that mid-range jumper to relieve some of the offensive load of Durant and Westbrook.
Eric Maynor -- Dime a dozen. Decent backup.
Daequan Cook -- See Maynor, Eric.
James Harden -- Decent role player but he seems to have slow feet. Dunno if he can win a foot race with Paul Pierce.

Overall, I think OKC needs to improve their bench so that they can move Harden to the starting spot. Most of all, they just need more seasoning. Unless you're 2008 Boston or 2011 Heat, you need to go to war together and get your heart broken through a few years of playoffs before you are ready to make the leap.
