At least someone got my reference. Liking the Heat is weak chic and lame hip nowadays, its sort of like being a "mac guy". Fuck the Heat, but fuck Durant more. How is the meek and timid Durant going to call anyone in the league out? This nigga weighs 125 soaking wet and makes Keith Van Horn and Cuttino Mobley seem hood. We all know he can shoot, but how can a certified bitch nigga call out another nigga on supposed bitch status?

The chants used I know were "O-K-C" "Fear the Beard" (for Harden) and "Thank You Thunder"

For the record, we have met the team after the last 3 flights home, the first 2 wasn't as big as this though. Everyone wanted to see the team one last time and know they were thankful for a great season, even if it hurts right now.

I've sort of adopted the Thunder as my NBA team over the last couple of years (hadn't watched the NBA prior to that for maybe 10-12 years), mainly b/c I don't live that close to any NBA markets and the closest ones are Chicago, Memphis, and OKC. I like Durant even though he's too timid for as big of a star as he is, overall he seems to like OKC and wants to do good in that community.

Anyway, I think the next step will happen for the Thunder by getting Harden in the starting lineup, and possibly develop Maynor into a starter, or drafting a good point guard like Josh Selby or Isaiah Thomas (would be sick if they could get Kimba Walker but he'll be off the board by that point and they won't draft a PG anyway) At least Maynor would feed the ball to Durant and Harden (and even Collison) instead of taking on the whole defense driving to the hoop for some prayer layups. Westbrook would be a much better point guard if he tried to setup his teammates. The second coming of Iverson he most definitely is not.

Durant is a lot like a young Dirk if Dirk was a little shorter and black. Dirk used to be bothered by smaller defenders and shot a lot more 3s than he should have (though he still hit a lot of them).

Eventually Dirk developed a post game and his fadeaway, plus he just figured out how to defeat any 1 on 1 defense thrown at him.

Durant isn't 7 feet though he will have to do something a little different to improve. He needs to bulk up and develop a post game and stop shooting so many 3s, then he will be unstoppable.

What's funny is Durant has tried to bulk up more and his body just doesn't put on the muscle mass.

As for Westbrook, the one thing I liked in the 4th Quarter last night was they basically were running a 3 Point Guard rotation with Maynor-Westbrook-Harden, except you could tell Maynor didn't belong there (ie. waving everyone off and taking a shot over a big man). I think if they just inserted Harden and let both Harden and Westbrook run the offense at different times it would balance out well.

Nick Collison though is the man, I don't know how a man as scappy as he just settles for being a bench role player.
