Yea I mean he might be "trying" but that doesn't mean its been a legitimate effort. If you consume more calories than you burn, you gain weight. They make it sound like hes been doing desperate measures of "weight lifting and bulking" as if those arent exactly what every other person/athlete in the world would also do to gain weight.

185 lbs., and no, he couldn't do it even once. He weighed 225 in college mind you. He was the only prospect that year that couldn't do it.

Yea that is mind boggling, and this is coming from what was (and still kind of am) a typical skinny guy.

How can you be an athlete at such high levels and not be totally obsessed with your body & fitness. You gotta obviously spend shit loads of time on the court shooting hoops, but christ spend an hour or two every other day in the weight room and get a proper diet going. At that level with the insane amount of resources available...theres no excuse. It actually makes me angry, I can only imagine what it would be like to have those sort of resources at my disposal.

granted, he did come out after his freshman year. a lot of bball players aren't that strong right out of high school, and as talented as he is, he probably didn't lift at all in high school.

For me, it's just like...you know you're going to lift at the NBA combine...and you put no effort at all into it? We're talking about benching 80% of his body weight, it's a joke.
