I can make bullshit claims as well.
I became a Spurs fan in 1988, when I moved to San Antonio. I also liked the Bulls, Suns, and Sonics. Mostly cause I enjoyed watching Jordan, Kevin Johnson, and Dale Ellis.

I became a Bulls fan after their first championship in 91. got turned onto basketball after the street riots after they won. I also liked the Sixers, Magic, and Pistons. Mostly cause I enjoyed watching Iverson, Penny hardaway, and Grant Hill.

People who make arguments that Jordan wasn't the greatest player of all time are usually those who are stuck looking at youtube comps and saying defense was slower/less athletic etc. Except, its complete bullshit and the majority of the NBA is a bunch of sissy ass teams with zero defense and maybe 1 star offensive player that can penetrate said shitty defenses for W's(this is disregarding all the helpful rule changes after the Jordan-era).

The only exception to the rule is the handful of teams who resemble a glimmer of the oldschool teams that actually gave Jordan's championship runs some trouble. No team has ever come close to the dominance of that Bulls team, maybe the Heat could be that team in the coming years, we'll see, but for now, don't flatter yourselves lol

Jordan would not only dominate today based on physical talents but also because the league rules of today favor guards so much. This is why teams are able to go small so much now and get away with it. Try to go small against the Riley coached Knicks and your whole team is on the IR the next day.

Lebron in Jordan's era would definitely dominate but I think only in regards to racking up monster stats like the other physical specimens of Jordan's era: Malone and Robinson. I don't see Lebron' being able to mentally handle being pounded several times a game. The flagrant fouls of today were considered good plays back in the day. There would be teams in the playoffs whose whole strategy is to throw three guys at Lebron to give him 18 hard fouls every game. Lebron already gets pouty and floppy on the little bit of contact he already gets.

Reason he gets Floppy is because it helps his team, not because he's not mentally tough. It's a bit of a reach to say that you know he couldn't handle the physicality of yesteryear because he plays to today's rules.'the dude is a tank, p. sure he could handle the physical part.

My favorite quote to use on Heat fans is from FL's own, Joakim Noah: "The Heat are good, but they're Hollywood as hell." rofl

There's some speculation that the Cavs are trying to work out a three team trade that will send the #2 pick to Cleveland, and Rip Hamilton to Chicago.

If that works out, Cleveland should take Derrick Williams first, that way they can play Irving less since he'll probably be another Greg Oden.
