Correct me.. but did the Bulls win a title when Pippen was the lead guy? Or did they get knocked out of the playoffs the full year that Pippen was the #1 option, and then when MJ came back at the very end of the year.. no title there either when Pippen was the main guy. Pretty sure that's all that matters in the NBA. Championships. Pippen had the chance to show he's boss when MJ retired, and couldn't lead them to the promised land. MJ comes back and the first full year with the team.. they rattle off three straight again. Coincidence?
And yeah, who'd LeBron develop? Boobie Gibson? Mo Williams in the couple of years? .. not a damn person, and at first opportunity after his 3 year extension ran out, he got the fuck out and joined a team with another superstar.
And I don't care what the Bulls record was WITH Pippen. No ring means I don't give a shit, lol. He was valuable with Jordan, he was just 'another really good player' without. That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.
Also, doesn't help that he's fucking retarded, thinking he could mention LeBron's name even close to MJ right now even if he does edit his statement and say later on that 'he could get there'. Stfu, Pippen. MJ made your career.
Trying way too hard dummy
Umadding to much bro.
No? But I thought the Bulls were just so good, even without Jordan? That was my point. Not Pippen's ability to lead, but his ability as the 'main' guy on an already 'good' team.
Yeah, Pippen sure didn't show everyone that he's boss by leading his team in points, boards, assists, blocks and steals, something only one other player has ever done in NBA history. (hint: his name isn't Michael Jordan)
How many titles did Jordan win without Pippen again? That's all that matters right?
Are you being serious? Any team that loses their best player without compensation isn't going to be as good as they were. You do realize how good the East was in those two years? Not to mention even if they had made it to the finals they would've had to play Hakeem and the Rockets.
Sorry, but it doesn't change my stance that without MJ, Scottie wouldn't have been what he was in his career, and there's no one on the Cavs roster that really benefited from LeBron being there, and that was sort of my argument against the "Lebron could be better than MJ"
Pippen's a hall of famer. It'd be kind of stupid for me to say he sucked. He was great while MJ was gone, but he was second fiddle when MJ came back.
.. I didn't want to have to do this but you fags leave me no choice.
Akiyama trolls poorly. No one said pippen is mj, no one even said lebron is mj. Said that mj was surrounded by great players. Lebron wasn't, so I don't fault him for bouncing. Beat argument to be had is that he couldn't turn old ass zildrunis into rodman or mo Williams into pippin in a couple seasons. lol.
He isn't trolling hes right.
MJ didn't leave he gave the bulls 7 years including 5 without scottie. He gave the bulls a chance to build around him. Lbj quit on Cleveland.
It's funny how you heat bandwagoners/lebron cocksuckers try to play it out as Cleveland was some trash team as if Lebron won 66 games 2 ECF and a finals appearance by himself.
Doesn't the fact that the team lost the best player in NBA history and still managed to win 50 something games validate pippin? Oh, no championship. Lamar Odom is a better forward than lebron.
